“The family Chateau is stylishly restored and we enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast in a lovely setting. The pool and hot tub were a very welcome end to a long day’s drive. The owners made us very welcome and we look forward to staying again.”

“Ottimo albergo. Stanze comode e spaziose. Colazione ottima”

“Clean room with AC and a Nespresso machine — a big plus. The bed was big and comfortable. Unfortunately, the self check-in didn’t work, though the lady at the front desk kindly helped us complete a standard check-in instead. Because of the self check-in issue, we also couldn’t get access to the wifi. I sent a message about it but never received a response.”

“We had arrived by bike after a 70 km ride and we found the gate closed. The time was 4pm, as indicated on the booking for check-in, but the owner told us to come one hour late because he was not home. The room was dirty, and the fourth bed fell apart in the middle of the night and was not suitable for an adult person. Breakfast had counted items and at the request to have one extra croissant the answer was "no". The place does not offer any beverages for purchase. You have to drink tap water...

“Comodo, in pieno centro.

“Struttura a gestione familiare MOOOLTO carina. Ottima colazione dolce!”

“Great price and a lovely and helpful proprietor. To the people giving this hotel a bad review: if you want luxury, pay for it. There are no stairs and it's a three story building - this is publicised, so why complain? It's only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The place is quirky and dated but that is it's charm. Highly recommend. Will be returning.”

“This place is a hidden gem. A wonderful hostess who cooks up a storm at very reasonable prices. The rooms are spacious and superb incl. great breakfast. We will come back!”

“Loved: location, washing machine, drying rack, size of fridge, cost, tp/hand soap/laundry and dish detergent supplied. Needs improvement: communication, cleanliness of property, dirty cutlery, shower head cannot be supported by present system so needs to be held while showering, water damage on ceiling in bathroom, strong smoke smell. No control over: Neighbours were festive until 3:30 am on Saturday morning, sound travels easily through building-can hear conversations in other apartments while...

“Lovely room, qu”

“La Nuit d'Etang rates more than 5 stars because we think it is exceptional! It is very comfortable, very well appointed, intensively and amusingly decorated both inside and outside, very quiet in a pleasant location and a welcome delight to return to at the end of every day. For those who like cycling, the surrounding countryside is excellent with gently rolling hills and attractive landscapes. There are endless incredibly quiet lanes, plus the voie verte which whisks you fairly effortlessly...
