“I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about our experience.
When we arrived, there was no on-site check-in and we had to retrieve our keys from a lockbox. The property is an 1889 house, so we weren’t expecting modern amenities, but the moment we entered, there was an overwhelming smell of cat urine that was so strong it nearly made us leave immediately.
While the room itself was somewhat tolerable, it felt damp and there appeared to be possible mold present....

“The property was very well situated with a very calm area surrounding the location. It had a very clean and finished appearance, and was a welcome respite from a long drive. There was a welcome package upon our arrival which made us feel quite welcome. Close proximity to the pool house and public facilities. Disappointed with the fitness center, much smaller than advertised. What was most remarkable was the state of the home once we arrived.

“Se volete regalarvi un soggiorno particolare in un'isola particolare, dovete recarvi al Dalvay by the sea.
La bellezza degli arredi, della posizione all'interno di un parco naturale, ti regala un'esperienza unica.
Staff molto cortese : un grazie speciale a Mark, grazie ai suoi consigli ed itinerari abbiamo potuto scoprire quanto di bello offre l'isola.
Ristorante ottimo, all'altezza delle recensioni che avevo letto.

“It is a pleasant, quiet area. Well functioning air conditioning and dehumidifier which is essential in the summer. Accommodation for our cat who thoroughly enjoyed the room.
The rooms are extremely small and the carpet is smelly and musty. The showers had a weak water flow so it just seemed to trickle out.
Staff were all friendly and kind.
There is a good restaurant on site. The vegan and vegetarian options are limited but it is possible to eat vegan and vegetarian food there. It is only open...

“The annex doors were very hard to open and close (likely due to the humidity). The toilet in our room #37) is loose and should be secured. Lighting is very dim and would be nice if it was brighter as the one window is small and there is limited natural light. We have an electric vehicle and while 2 of the chargers work well, the parking is considered general parking so if you arrive you aren’t guaranteed the ability to charge - this happened to us multiple times during our stay.
