“I have stayed at City Lodge Bloemfontein before, and each time I have found it to be a pleasant place, very conveniently situated for my purposes. I observed that the room telephones have been removed since my last visit, and now there was no information in my room - instead one is referred to an app. I think that is not a good idea - it is as if they are skimping on extras to save a little money. “I booked a family unit with one double bed and two singles only go get there to one bed. The lady we called said we will have to pay extra for every person who will be sleeping in their unit. We had to fight for one more person and ended up looking for another guest house for the other two people yet we paid for the family unit.”

“I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the breakfast. Room 603 However, my aircon dod not blow cold at all. The Hot water in my room took 15 mins to come, an extreme waste of water. This was with the maintenance crew standing and pouring the taps i could not use thw shower as the cold tap was not functional. I was then assisted to tey find a new room. Of which we tried 612, 311 & 200 and something, not one of the rooms aircons worked. Nor did any of thw taps run hot in under 5 mins of pouring...

“Wow, what an outstanding little gem this lodge was. Traveled to the Eastern Cape with family and stopped over for an evening here. The gentleman who helped us does the night shift alone and what amazing service he gave. The rooms were spotless, well ventilated and stocked. Great service, beautiful rooms and perfectly located. 10/10 would visit again. ”
