“Amazing views of fort. Visited there 3 years ago, and it was immaculate then; but could use some maintenance in rooms , didn’t feel the same. Average dinner , but great breakfast. On a brighter note Staff was very attentive as always.”

Nous avons dîné au restaurant la 1ere nuit...horrible vu le prix. La salade grecque a été revisitée en simples morceaux de tomates et de poivrons avec des tranches de fromage cheddar posées dessus. “This is a unique property. Much appreciated the serene and unhurried atmosphere. Very quiet property, the sound of the waves is the background music and ocean breeze is very nice. Staff were nice and professional. Great please to disconnect and leave your devices in the room.”

“posizione ottima, proprio sulla spiaggia, vicinissimo alla stazione bus e treno. Pulizia buona per gli standard dello sri lanka, colazione buona e a buffet. Attenzione,uno dei cuochi che lavora presso la struttura si offrirà di farvi da "autista" con il suo tuk tuk (ape piaggio modificata) , come autista non è male, peccato che non rispetti il prezzo pattuito avendo la tendenza a dire hundred al posto di thousend (100 al posto di 1000).”

“The was as advertised, however the restaurant and menu certainly were not 5 star. I complained to the manager regarding the lack of wine available with meals and lack of choice. This was escalated to the chairman. After much to and fro it was agreed I would receive a refund of two nights as we left early due to lack of choice and general incompetence. This refund was promised within 15 days on my payment card. Needless to say no refund and no reply to my enquiry. Their email system was also...

“The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the pool provided a lovely cooling break aftwr a long day. Breakfast was incredible. Additionally, the staff was so kind and even let me check out late due to an evening flight. I highly recommend this property.”

“We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend. ”
