“We arrived after 18.00 hours but we were expected and our room was ready and waiting. The facilities were excellent,and plenty of info on attractions was available. The breakfast menu was extensive and varied, with sausage and bacon sourced locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though access to it was rather a long way from the main road along an "unmade" track.”

“We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. ”

“Firstly on arrival I was told my room was in a sister hotel two doors away which is not what I booked , the room was very dated and not well maintained and a bit grubby the TV was so small it was hard to see and overall smelt very musty looking out of the window into a roof void that looked disgusting, breakfast was OK but no change was made to the time on Thursday even though the majority if not all customers there were there to watch the southern 100 and Thursday was an earlier start which I...

“I had a lovely view of Douglas’ beach and sea front. The room was cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was excellent. The host was very helpful and charming. The property has four floors but the lift is out of action. I have stayed twice now and not been disappointed.”

“The breakfasts were amazing, a lot of choice, not just the usual standard british breakfast. The staff were very good. The owners was very helpful when we had a medical emergency. The hotel is well located with a short walk to Douglas beach and the shops within easy reach. The only drawback for us was the stairs. There were a lot of them up to our room and no lift, but apart from that we had a lovely stay.”
