“We arrived after 18.00 hours but we were expected and our room was ready and waiting. The facilities were excellent,and plenty of info on attractions was available. The breakfast menu was extensive and varied, with sausage and bacon sourced locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though access to it was rather a long way from the main road along an "unmade" track.”

“We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. ”

“Walls are paper thin. Heard everything going on above and to the sides from my neighbors. Shower was stuck at the hottest 35°. Too cold. Bed was uncomfortable. Restaurant and bar was good tho. Not sure i'll ever stay here again but will def visit the bar and restaurant. Cleaning staff was on point.”

“There were signs of wear and tear within the building, the room with a sea view was ideally situated .there was some noise from traffic. Compared to other stays in Douglas, this hotel was very good.”

“Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car! Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good . Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel .”

“Very clean and comfortable stay. Had a beautiful sea view from my room right on Douglas bay promenade. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and service. Pub next door was convenient and also served food. Easy access to horse carriage and electric railway for tourist activities and sites. Bicycle friendly with a locked garage.”
