“Hotel is quite expensive for what you get. Bathroom needs an upgrade water all over floor when showering and very dark with insufficient lighting and very few places to put your stuff. Quite noisy at night quadruple glazing fitted but when closed of course no fresh air. Staff very good and helpful. Breakfast could do with kippers on the menu especially being a Manx hotel with wet fish shop close by. ”

“Whether for a staycation (as we used it), or for a base to retreat to when visiting the island, this was a great experience. Breakfast was good, especially the pancake making machine, and a nice spot to sit in even on a rainy day. The rooms are quite big and the place is easy to navigate. We used the SPA and after figuring out how to turn the jacuzzi on, was a good addition to the day. Staff on reception very helpful and seem very willing to aid in questions about other areas of the hotel...

“Love the location, rooms are beautiful and setting is idyllic. The only thing I could say is you have a designated bathroom for each room and our bathroom kept being used by other people staying in the property. Men who don’t clean up after themselves! “Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily.
