“Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though.”

“A un km circa dal centro di Sandakan; camera enorme, molto pulita. Bellissima piscina in cui abbiamo fatto il bagno fino alle 8 di sera; ottima e infinita la colazione, buono il ristorante.”

“I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray! 100% would recommend, where else can you stay in the rainforest?!”

“Posizione strategica per visitare gli orango tango e l'orso malese. Piccola piscina gradevole e pulita. Immerso nel verde della giungla, detiene un bellissimo parco. Il ristorante interno è ottimo e il personale è gentilissimo. Le stanze (la nostra era una doppia con bagno privato con aria condizionata) sono ben tenute e pulite. La colazione mediocre.”

“Stayed here 2 nights in order to do activities in the surrounding area. Great location with shops and food a short walk away and not too from orangutans and airport. Breakfast was lovely and staff we're extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.”

“Siamo andati a dormire li con un bimbo di 5 anni, è stata un’ Esperienza meravigliosa! Stanza davanti alla giungla, grande e pulitissima, pace e tranquillità, cibo ottimo, personale cordiale e preparato. Posizione ottima! A 10 minuti a piedi si arriva al centro di conservazione degli oranghi e agli altri resort per provare anche gli altri ristoranti. Consigliatissimo! ”

“Staff are exceptional - friendly, kind, helpful. There's nothing fancy about the place, but nothing fancy is needed, given the surroundings. I especially enjoyed my balcony with the fan. Breakfast is decent and it's only a 20 min walk to the orangutan rehab centre and 5 mins to the rainforest discovery centre.”
