“We selected this property partly for the spa and convenience to the old walled city. When we arrived, we were informed there was a festival in town that weekend, and had to park at the train station two miles away. No way to drive in or out for the whole stay. Then, we asked to use the spa and the spa was not even open—being refurbished for the month. They should have let us know before we got all the way there. Pretty spot, not sure I’d do it again. “The property was perfect for us—grandparents and our daughter’s family including a toddler. They have their own playground and a closet full of more toys than many preschools. The host brought over eggs one morning and another morning his wife brought us some “Belgian vitamins”- that is chocolates. Both the host and his wife were nice to chat with. We cooked one night and th kitchen had everything we needed. They had a neat French press for coffee as well. Check in and check out were easy....

“This was a real oasis of peace and quiet after days out visiting Paris, Disneyland and the local area. There was plenty of space and even horses to visit outside! Highly recommend every part of it - especially visits to Paris (park at Marles-en-Brie and check the train times!) and locally to Provins (though be warned it gets busy in the French holidays!). We very much hope we can return soon.”
