“Excellent location! Walk off the ferry with your bags and directly to La Zayapa. I had a difficult time before arriving with payment link and WhatsApp. I finally figured out WhatsApp and called the front desk; no worries, they had my reservation and told me to just settle up when checking in. Breakfast was wonderful and the day we left on the 7am ferry, they had a to-go meal packaged for each of us on a table on the way out the door. They also have very reasonable full laundry service. “We had a great and enjoyable stay at Golden Bay Galapagos. The room was meticulously cleaned with very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent as you can walk to everything, restaurants, beaches and entertainment. They have the best cocktails in Galapagos. Look for those freshly made pizzas in the evening. Thank you to an amazing staff We will absolutely return to Golden Bay Galapagos.”

“Escaped from Eco friendly and landed here at this excellent hotel. Everything. And everyone was great. Also got an awesome massage at the spa. Really nice hotel.”

“We loved our stay in the family room. Super clean, great shower. AC worked great. The owner and son (I believe) were super helpful. A spoke English which was appreciated. They have a water cooler in the office where you can fill your bottles or get water to cook/make coffee on the small stove. We walked to the Main Street area in 10 minutes, lots of options for meals, small convenience stores, ATM and tour offices.”

“Great daily breakfast! The hotel is under renovation (nearly complete). Avoid rooms on the main floor (no view and depressing). Second floor is better but the third floor is nice. Terrace. No elevator though. Overall, good value for San Cristobal.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Clean, friendly, and comfortable don’t even begin to describe it. Easy walking distance to everything. You really can’t beat this place in San Cristobal. The staff really sets this place apart- when a cab I set up for myself didn’t show up to take me to the airport, the front desk staff dropped everything they were doing and ran out into the street to flag a cab down for me.
