“Although it was not easy to drive to the resort from Dar es Salaam (especially with our RAV4), our family had a wonderful stay there and is definitely willing to go back there. As many reviews of Tripadvisor already mentioned, the foods in the resort were fantastic. “We loved this place! It was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. There’s a restaurant and nice garden area for dining. It is a short tuk tuk drive from the ferry or bus station (4000-5000shillings) across the road is the yacht club where you get a day pass for 10 000 shillings/pp, lots of lounging areas, pool table, showers, lockers and beachfront plus the food was exceptional (one of our favourite meals all trip) and reasonably priced. “Loved our stay at the Lawns Hotel! Situated walkable to all you need in Lushoto and close by all the trails we wanted to trek up! The pool area is adorable and we truly felt like we were part of the jungle. Would recommend! They also have a refillablle water bottle station (with clean water!) which is sooo much better than the constant water bottles you have to throw away!”

“The location for me was perfect, a little bit outside Leshoto center. You can walk there or find someone to drive you there. It is a quiet place and relatively clean for Tanzanian standards.
