The rooms were very large and able to accommodate my family perfectly. Also, having a home that allows my furry family member is always a plus! Nora was incredibly responsive. “Much needed family retreat! We lost our daughter-in-law last year, so we postponed our family vacation until this year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a great time of healing and renewal. The house is charming, but a little drafty. Plenty of rooms for our large family. We had a bit of trouble getting in on the first day (not the fault of the host), but Vasili was very responsive and we figured out the problem. Beautiful location!”

“When we arrived the Septic Tank alarm was going off. We called, the property manager came right away, and contacted the owner. Employees from a Septic Company came within a few hours and verified it was an alarm malfunction, and that there was nothing wrong with the tank or the pump. They fixed the alarm the next day. There was little disruption to our stay.We appreciated the response of the owner and the property manager.”

“The room was what we needed for the weekend. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, we were vendors at the Bennington garlic festival. But, we got a good night sleep and it was very comfortable.”

“Stayed at the sunshine Inn for one night on a visit to the Saratoga Battlefield. I chose it because it was close to the battlefield, even though it has the external look of a 1960s motel I was surprised to discover that the rooms had been updated nicely. The bed was comfortable and the room was immaculately clean. It was a delightful surprise. The rooms are on the small side, but adequate for a couple. I would stay there again.”

“The property and room itself was a nice space, and a good location, very quiet. It needed a little more care in the cleaning (some dusty areas along the baseboards and under tables). No one came to clean or check on the room during our two night stay. The self-serve property app - to check in and communicate with the staff - could not be accessed (an authentication issue due to our booking through Expedia and not directly with the property). We luckily ran into a staff member at check in who...

“The property was very dated... run down fixtures,, bathrooms.. sink and bathtub missing large areas of grout.. they were discolored by age and usage and very unpleasing...We received no maid service for the 3 nights we were there..no fresh linens nor any fresh towels. The parking lot and entrance ramp are dated and full of holes and uneven pavement and in need of repair....Therefore.. a poor rating is being nice...”
