Hi,<br>You’ll be staying in a lovingly furnished, non-smoking vacation home with a cozy atmosphere, idyllically located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small, quiet community of detached vacation homes on the outskirts of Detern-Stickhausen—a state-recognized resort town on the sunny side of East Frisia.<br><br>The Spökenkieker house offers approximately 70 m² of living space across two floors and can accommodate up to four people. The upper floor features two bedrooms: one with a cozy box-spring bed (160 × 200 cm) and a crib, and the other with two single beds (100 × 200 cm). <br>Your dog is also very welcome here!<br><br>Ground-floor amenities:<br>Open kitchen with stove, ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator, Philips Gourmet coffee maker, microwave, egg cooker, and toaster<br><br>Modern shower room with sink and toilet<br><br>Spacious living area with dining table (5 chairs + high chair)<br>Cozy corner with a 3-seater sofa with ottoman, an armchair, and a lounge chair<br>Smart TV, free fiber-optic Wi-Fi, and a cozy wood-burning stove (firewood available for a small fee)<br><br>Outdoor area:<br>Two wooden decks and a partially fenced U-shaped garden offer plenty of space for both people and pets<br>Garden furniture, a beach umbrella, and a gas grill are provided<br><br>Enjoy East Frisian coziness in every season!<br><br>Leisure & Excursions:<br>Our vacation home is ideal for relaxing days spent on-site as well as for exciting day trips.<br><br>A swimming lake is within walking distance (about 20 minutes)<br><br>Fishing in the surrounding waters<br><br>The North Sea coast and the East Frisian Islands are popular destinations for day trips<br>The city of Leer (approx. 20 km) and the Netherlands (approx. 30 min. drive to the border)<br>Meyer Shipyard in Papenburg (approx. 45 km) – well worth a visit<br>Hobby Rhododendron Park in Westerstede (70 ha, approx. 25-minute drive) for nature and garden lovers<br><br>A wide range of recreational activities for children – information available at the Detern Tourist Information Office (2-minute walk)<br><br>A bicycle provided by the property is available for bike tours (at your own risk). Additional e-bikes, bicycles, and children’s bikes, as well as canoes and kayaks, can be rented for a fee at the Paddel & Pedal Station (2-minute walk, right on the Jümme River).
