When we entered the lobby to check in, we found the manager behind the counter and a guest in the lobby yelling, screaming and cursing at each other. We listened to this for few minutes, then decided to leave. However, the manager told us to stay that we could check in shortly. They continued yelling at each other. There was a maintenance person came over to us and took us into a small room off from the lobby. He offered us coffee and a snack. However, we could still hear what was going on in the lobby. Finally, 15 to 20 minutes, it quieted down. We made our way to the desk to check in. The manager apologized for the outburst. I'm not sure that was enough. We were then told they didn't have any rooms available with kitchens. We reserved and paid for a kitchen. He then told us that if we waited for a little bit, he would try to find one. We left and then returned a couple of hours later. They found a room with a kitchen on the second floor. We went up to our room to find it looked as if it was in the process of being remodeled. There we no towel racks in the bathroom, the plumbing under the sink was visible, no counter space on the bathroom sink and no toilet tissue roller.There was also no closet or place to hang clothes. There was no dresser to put clothes in.The kitchen had no counter space.We were told the didn't provide cutlery or dishes any more. There is a sign in the elevator that says they provide fully functional kitchens. We won't be returning to this hotel.
