"The Park" is a two-bedroom suite with queen beds throughout, a sleeper sofa and a side chair that converts to a futon. We’ve curated thoughtful amenities to welcome families, groups, seasoned travelers, outdoorspeople or the perfect couple’s getaway. Private and street parking available. Just minutes from Belle Isle, local pubs, boutiques and restaurant districts. Also 10 minutes from downtown Detroit.

I was at a Show in Detroit that had all the rooms booked. Little bit of a drive to get to downtown. Clean place and surprisingly spacious on the inside.

Lovely Stay

The park (lower unit)

My girlfriend and I stayed downstairs, and couldn't believe how large of a space we really had. It was very easy to get in and out with the code given, and one of the cleanest places I have stayed in. Lionel had everything set up for us and was easy to reach if we needed something. Great place with a 15 minute Uber to downtown Ford Field area.

Fantastic property

My friends and I stayed here after attending a concert downtown. The location was perfect and the property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and inviting, I only wish that we would have more time to spend here. I highly recommend this rental, I couldn’t have imagined anything better!

Very Pleasant Stay

Really enjoyed this nicely appointed property in Detroit. Property was clean and exactly as depicted in the photos. In a safe, quiet neighborhood not far from town. Even has onsite parking. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city!

Terrible Experience - DO NOT RENT

I have been using VRBO for 20 years and this is the worst experience I've ever had. The owner canceled 2 hours before checkin and we were left with nowhere to stay for an important event. This was after trying in vain for several days to contact him regarding checkin information. I finally got through to VRBO and they informed me that the host was unresponsive and my reservation had been canceled. We had paid in full and were very upset. I will never, ever rent from this property owner again!

Nice for a night

Super clean, great location

My cousin and I spent the night here for a place to crash after the Strokes/RHCP show. Sadly, we basically just slept woke up and left. I say sadly because the space was very nice, cozy furniture, big TV, very clean kitchen and bathroom and a great bonfire spot in the backyard. Safe area and like a 12 minute Lyft to Comerica and good communication from the owner. Highly recommended!

Nicely rehabbed, cute and clean!

Would definitely stay here again. Home was very clean and fresh. Seems a very recent rehab. Linens and towels were all new and of high quality, and most amenities were provided. Upper and lower units are separated and have private entrances. We were concerned about the area, but found this house is along a nicer part of the road, among other well cared for homes and very close to Grosse Pointe Park shopping and restaurants.

Lovely spot in Jefferson Chalmers near Grosse Pointe

Lovely trdecorated home with so many special touches, water and snacks, easy WiFi code, near lots of restaurants. It was super clean, and quiet. We got the code the day of and had issues working the digital entry pad; the host was available and helpful. The parking was a little tight but felt safe. We would happily stay again in this beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath with kitchen and living area. Thank you!

Exceeded expectations

Rented for a girl's /bachelorette weekend in Detroit, personally had no concerns with the location easy to get to and convenient to downtown. The pictures absolutely do not do the property justice it is a quality home with great basic amenities, very clean sturdy comfortable furniture very informative helpful host. The only cons parking is tight but this is normal for Detroit, It is a 2 unit rental home upper and lower meaning communal entry hall ( you have separate locking doors to units) and the possibility of disturbing your neighbor. This was not an issue at all as the other tenants were another bachelorette group and so that was fun. Overall excellent I would definitely stay again and if we needed more space rent both units.

Terrible / don’t recommend

First off I’ve stayed at many places and this by far has been the worst experience. I booked a reservation for just me. My sister came with me during check in to help bring my bags in. As soon as I walked in the hallway the host began asking who she was I stated it was my sister . He told me to update the amount of guests I said she wasn’t staying . He then got back on ring and said if anyone else is coming I need to change the amount of guests which was fine . He then kept coming onto the ring telling me to update the amount of guests after I stated she wasn’t staying and if I decided to have any guests over I would let him know and update . When I walked out he kept talking to me on the ring making me feel very uncomfortable. Yes I understand it’s okay to have cameras but to continue to speak to me every time I came out made me feel so uncomfortable and it was creepy . I immediately called VRBO and explained I just wanted to leave after only being there 15 min . They told me to contact him about a refund . I texted him and asked for a refund he stated for what . I wanted a refund because I do not feel comfortable and I don’t want to be spoken to by the host every time I walk in the hallway. I was on the phone with VRBO for over a hour during my call he kept unlocking the door ( smart lock) making this the most horrible uncomfortable feeling I’ve ever been in. I would not recommend this place at all . Just know every time you walk in the place he is watching and will talk to you through the ring camera . I am a woman and it’s not a good feeling it’s really weird . He could have simply messaged me on the VRBO app ( not ring ) I give this place 0 stars . Do not stay here
