“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”

“The owners met us on arrival and gave us a tour showed us how to work the heater where to find things they were just amazing! They gave us our pin to mark our home on the map of all of their visitors and then brought us eggs and waffles in the morning made fresh from there free range chickens.”

“The parking was slightly confusing but we didn't end up having any issues. We were under the impression this would be more of an entire house with a kitchen, the pictures are deceiving. It is just a room. It was still great for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the bathroom! There weren't any towels when we arrived so we weren't able to shower after hiking all day but when we woke up there were some outside our door. We did book very last minute.
