“The room was adequate , nothing fancy, but TV was difficult to get working, and no instructions. However, the breakfast was horrible, unless you're a big fan of honeybuns and yogurt for breakfast. Ugh.”

“There was no body wash in the shower, completely empty. The lobby and hallways had a weird smell. The breakfast was not edible. Food was cold, eggs were watery. Even though the hotel was quiet and room was clean, I would not stay there again.”

“When we arrived it was our dinner time. Noticed a Texas Roadhouse within walking distance. The front desk person offered a coupon and listened to our request to be away from the pool. He was helpful, friendly and gave good advice. Breakfast the next morning was full and ready when we arrived. Parking well lit and felt safe.”

“Ice was limited. The 3rd and 2nd floor ice makers was not working. The first room we received was not ready for us. Bed was not made. Staff was great about getting us a new room. The place was clean but the room smelled a bit like wet dog. Still had a great night of sleep. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices!”

“This is basic accommodation with no elevator. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The shampoo and body wash in the shower had pump tops which are easier to use than the squeeze bottles so many places use now. We didn't try the included breakfast but it didn't look like there was a lot of options.”

We arrived right at 3pm to make the most of our time and was told our room wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for at least 30 min but they will call me when it’s ready. “I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
The biggest issue was the bed, which was extremely firm and uncomfortable. A good night's sleep is one of the main reasons for booking a hotel, and I struggled to get comfortable throughout my stay.
