This Nile Crocodile was not all that happy with us passing by in the small boat we were in, very glad he stayed there lol. This was in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. on a trip from Gunns camp. My favorite place anywhere in the world I've been! Peace & Tranquility in the middle of nowhere surrounded by African bush and the potential for visits from wildlife. The locals were great! Beautiful Botswana!
My trip to the &Beyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge in Botswana Africa, was an incredible experience. The staff at the lodges are so wonderful and caring, looking after their guest so incredibly well. Hot chocolates on the early morning safari trips are a highlight. I was travelling by myself after being with a group who went to Uganda and South Africa, so suddenly being alone was a little strange. At every meal at Xudum a staff member would eat with me to keep me company

The Okavango Delta is one of a very few large inland delta systems without an outlet to the sea, and in June 2014 Botswana’s Okavango Delta became the 1000th site inscribed on the World Heritage List. Even on a rainy day it’s such a beautiful place!

Flying with a Cessna upon the Okavango Delta in Botswana, where the river spreads out in the savannah and never reaches the sea. During the dry season, when the water level is low, you can see all the tracks made by the animals - mainly elephants and hippos - and spot them from above! A wilderness that will stay in my heart. #LifeAtExpediaGroup
