“What a great place to stay. In the perfect location to walk to so many good places. The room was nice and the king bed very very comfortable. Staff was friendly, offered good ideas on places to eat. The breakfast was average or above average for hotels in this price range. We were pleased with the decision to stay here.”

“The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk...

It seemed to be an older Victorian type home that was turned into a Bed and Breakfast with a curb appeal with a lawn and flowers and Rocking chairs on the wrap around porch. We check in with Hazel who was warm and pleasant and friendly. “If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....
