“Bellissimo impianto con splendido giardino curatissimo dove guardare ogni tipo di piccoli uccellini. Camera comoda dato che abbiamo prenotato per due una di 80 m2 con due salottini. Sicuramente bella per un soggiorno estivo ma non per l'inverno. Esiste un camino ma abbiamo dovuto chiedere tre volte perché fosse acceso e quindi il secondo giorno si sono decisi. Hanno portato legna per 3 ore e quindi poco caldo. C'era una stufetta ad aria calda ma non si poteva usare nel bagno di marmo perché non...

“Over all the expirance is good. Good hospitality, good staff behaviour , food was healthy and tasty. It would be better if the provide some carpet & heater in room The time we went there was the coldest and it's hard to walk on room in the tiles without carpet legs where frozing ( i know slippers are option) but still if carpets where there it would have good. “The towels were dirty, though they changed it the new ones were the same as old ones. Food was the worst part, nothing was available except tea and coffee. “Reception struggled to find our reservation at check in. Room was basic, Very hard double bed. Kettle and a jug of water was supplied at check in, no further water given and room does not get made up. We were in the main building annexe and it obviously had not been used for some time, smelt and felt damp. I know we are in the mountains and should expect lower temperatures. We were told hot water would only be available 7-10 both mornings and evenings but we had to ring reception several times...

“Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer wunderbaren, leicht abgeschiedenen Atmosphäre. Es waren leider noch einige Bauarbeiten auf dem Gelände, die meist jedoch nicht störten. Man kann (gegen Aufpreis) ein Lagerfeuer bekommen und draußen Musik hören. Muß man mal abwarten, wohin sich das noch entwickelt. Zuviel wäre sicherlich der Atmosphäre abträglich. Werde ziemlich sicher wiederkommen und würde mich freuen, wenn es dann bessere Leseleuchten am Bett gibt.”

“The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! ”
