Una bella casa che domina Doolin e le Isole Aran con il castello Doonagore nelle vicinanze, vi dà il benvenuto nella "Wild Atlantic Way"

Situato in un vicolo cieco di cinque case, il traffico è al minimo e gli unici suoni che si sentono sono il muggito delle mucche nei campi adiacenti e la rottura delle onde atlantiche sulla riva sottostante.

I panorami dalla casa sono spettacolari, sul mare e sul cielo, con incredibili tramonti sulle isole Aran e sulla baia di Galway.

La casa è un'elegante conversione di cottage progettata dal proprietario, un noto architetto d'interni, la cui famiglia ha radici consolidate nella Contea di Clare.

Il tema degli interni è in linea con il paesaggio, che riflette i colori dell'ambiente rurale esterno. Morbide pareti bianche con pavimenti in rovere in tutta la casa creano un'atmosfera di rilassato stile di vita contemporaneo.

Più di 2800 piedi quadrati, su tre quarti di un ettaro di giardini ben curati, la casa approvvigiona ampiamente per sette persone, sia nello spazio che nel lusso.

Comprende quattro ampie camere matrimoniali, di cui due al piano terra con vista sul mare. Entrambi hanno bagni privati, splendidamente arredati con piastrelle in pietra e pareti a specchio per riflettere la luce. Uno dei servizi è una "stanza umida" adatta agli anziani o alle persone a mobilità ridotta.

Il bagno principale, anch'esso situato al piano terra, è dotato di vasca e doccia ed è rifinito secondo i più alti standard.
Come in tutti i bagni ha il riscaldamento a pavimento.

Cucina, sala da pranzo e zona salotto si uniscono perfettamente per formare uno spazio centrale e sono splendidamente arredate con ampi divani confortevoli, luci soffuse, tappeti e dipinti. Un fuoco a legna nella zona giorno principale funge da punto focale e aggiunge al senso di calore e intimità.

Grandi finestre pittoresche che fiancheggiano il retro della casa, portano luce e sole nella zona giorno a pianta aperta e riflettono le splendide viste intorno.

Blissful, relaxing, pure perfection

We came to Doolin for a wedding and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, stocked perfectly with a great amount of space. We felt like we were in a movie. The host communicated in a timely fashion, leaving nothing unanswered. Doolin (and surrounding towns) are quaint with a great selection of things to do and eat. Thank you for a perfect trip. We WILL be back.

This is an absolutely exquisite property with the most amazing view! The house is spacious and lovely, with every amenity you would need. The town is just a drive down a hill. Absolutely, perfect in every way! Can’t wait to return!!

5 stars all around

This was our second time booking this property, and the first time staying during the summer. Last time we enjoyed a week here during the winter and both times have been spectacular. Definitely more to do in the summer though. We loved the close access to the Doolin ferry and all the shops and restaurants. This is a great location for driving to visit the rest of Clare on easy day trips as well. Our group had 5 adults and the house was spacious and comfortable.

Family trip of a lifetime @ Sea Mist

We absolutely loved our week at Sea Mist cottage. It was perfect for our entire family of six, including my husband and I, my Mom, Brother, and our two teenage boys. The cottage was decorated so well, was so welcoming and comfortable, clean and spacious! It was fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our week as a family. The views were absolutely spectacular. We loved riding our electric bikes into town and throughout all the bike routes in the area. We thanked ourselves for selecting the electric bikes on the way back up the hill to the cottage. Something we highly recommend for other staying at the cottage. We couldn’t imagine taking that trek back up to the cottage on a normal bike! Sea Mist cottage was perfect for us to find time together as a family at the dinner table, enjoying the view outside, or just chilling in the living room. The description of the bathroom situation could be a little bit better on the listing. Explain that there is only a toilet and sink in the upstairs bathroom next to the two bedrooms up there (all 3 showers are on the ground floor). So if people staying up there want to take a shower, they need to come downstairs. The only thing we couldn’t really figure out very well was the combination washer/dryer. The binder of information on all the appliances was great, but no matter what setting we used, we never could seem to get our clothes all the way dry. Other than that, we absolutely loved everything else about the cottage.

Ocean views, convenient, spacious

Generously appointed, spacious and modern. I wouldn't hesitate to book Seamist for a longer time than the few nights we stayed. It was so difficult to move on - sunsets over the ocean, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings for long conversations, and a picturesque castle tower nearby. Nearby are so many engaging activities - the Cliffs, Aran Islands, hiking, biking, swimming, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna. Fantastic beds, lovely bedding and linens. On a quiet road, good access to walking paths. It's the country, so shop for groceries before arrival. Highest recommendation. Easy check in, great communications.

Gorgeous sea view stay

We loved everything about the Sea Mist cottage. The location was unbeatable (4-5 minutes from downtown Doolin), unbelievable views (over looking the great Atlantic) and the layout of the house was superb. The main living space was separated from the bedrooms which was awesome for a large group (minimize noise for people sleeping). The bedrooms were incredibly comfy and bathrooms spacious. The entire property was newly renovated and appointed with very nice materials/fixtures. Highly recommend.

Extraordinary!

The home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views of the North Atlantic. We were also delighted to discover that we had a castle as a neighbor! We enjoyed the tranquil setting and were provided with everything we needed. Both the host and the manager were very responsive and gracious. We enjoyed the traditional music in Doolin and the numerous restaurants/pubs and all right next to the cliffs of Moher!

Family Vacation

The Seamist home made our first trip to Ireland a completely gorgeous experience! From the house we enjoyed the views of the ocean and the lush green scape. Upon entering the house we were in awe of the large size and the beautiful decor. We had more than enough space for our family of 5 adults. The house had all the comforts and supplies we needed so we were truly able to relax. And the Doolin area was everything we hoped for! We were able to travel to the Aran islands and Cliffs of Moher with ease. O’Connors pub was our favorite nearby restaurant and nightly hangout. We hope to visit this home again in the near future!

Beautiful Sea Views for sure!

House, gardens, most furnishings are lovely. Perhaps starting to need a bit of TLC ie kitchen organization, some wonky light fixtures etc. Stunning views as promised, laneway in to house is quite rough. Doolin itself is charming, spread out over quite an area and a steep walk down and back to the house. Some great restaurants - our favourite was Glas.

Beautiful house, wonderful location

My wife and I spent a week at Sea Mist cottage in Doolin. The house is very comfortable and the Doolin area is quite amazing in terms of restaurants, pubs and spectacular scenery. The pictures of the house and views really can’t do justice to how beautiful it is. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful views / house

Great views , great house, Doolin a short taxi ride , not so easy walk, especially back to house. One issue, I thought all bedrooms had a private full bath, that's not the case. 2 downstairs bedrooms have full baths, but the 2 bedrooms upstairs share a 1/2 bathroom...the full bathroom for them to use is actually on 1st floor at end of hallway. That being said, would highly recommend.

Amazing rental!

The home is beautiful! Wonderful view. Nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. Large open kitchen and living area. Very quiet and relaxing. Diedre was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The town of Doolin is filled with the sweetest people on the planet!! We had such a wonderful visit. When we return we will definitely try to rent this property again.
