Non mi è piaciuto: Posizione e accuratezza dell’annuncio
It's not that apparent from the map on the website that the property is close to the Old Sherborne road. Although it is shielded by bushes the road is unrestricted and noisy during the day and evening up to about 10pm. This reduces the enjoyment of the patio and cabin generally. You also need to drive when you go out as there is no footpath to nearby Charminster, unless you want to take your chances walking by the side of the busy Sherborne road. The cabin itself is cosy and set in nice countryside.

A garden house between fields and road
A small cottage with a lovely terrace in the countryside above the road at the edge of a field. Very sustainably run and beautifully furnished. A short walk to town and the beach.Tracy is a very pleasant host.

I appreciate the concept; however, overall experience was disappointing. The host was pleasant and thoughtfully provided extras like sanitary disposal bags and travel toiletries. However, these gestures did not suffice for us to consider returning.
Although advertised as a bijou cabin, it’s more a shed with kitchenette, bathroom, and a small double bed, lacking insulation. The listing advertised air conditioning, which was not present during our stay. Despite describing the accommodation as serene, it was not due to persistent road noise from the national speed limit road, disrupting any attempts to enjoy outdoor space.
Regarding cleanliness, there were some concerns: dishes required re-washing, there was toothpaste in the bathroom sink, and the toilet had not been thoroughly cleaned. The provided amenities, although a thoughtful touch, fell short; leaving half-used toothpaste was somewhat off-putting. The bedding contained some dog hair and mud marks, and the entire space was quite cluttered, necessitating organisation to make room on the half table, which lacked chairs.
We arranged to check out at 9:30am; however, the host was on the patio at 8:30am due to the dog running into the orchard, which I found encroached upon the privacy we had paid for. Fire pit was not in use, understandably due to fire risk, but this was not communicated prior to our arrival.
In summary, if you are tall, need quiet, and prefer a clean property, I would recommend exploring alternative options.
