Motel a Douglas

“I woke up the inn keeper after midnight needing a place to sleep on a cross country trip and she was so kind. Went in for breakfast the next morning (which had plenty of options) and she asked if I slept well and if I got the rest I needed for the next leg of my trip. My room wasn’t “perfect” but it was clean and comfortable. As a single woman traveling, I felt safe and secure enough to get a good nights rest. It’s not a “5 star” sort of place but I got 5 star treatment.”

“This is a smaller older hotel. The rooms are small as other reviewers have stated, but they were clean and the bed was comfortable. This was a business trip and what is most important to me are those two traits. Hotels in Cody are $$$, so this one is one of the most reasonable. Access is good. It is one the west end of town, closest to Yellowstone.”

“All entries and exits are through the "main", extremely small and highly cluttered lobby which assaults the guests with a stiff odor of disinfectant and perhaps mold. The room was extremely basic - fine given the price, but also dusty, had not been vacuumed and the bathroom much less clean and sanitary than one might expect. Especially the bathroom could use a 24 hour stand down to be scrubbed from top to bottom, floors and walls included. Additional power outlets, including power strips...
