“Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel.
The first room had a problem with the toilet flush, but the staff reacted quickly and gave us another room. However, the overall condition of the hotel was poor. The furniture looked very worn out, the carpet had many stains, and the table in the room felt sticky.
In the morning, we noticed water leaking under the sink every time we washed our hands. The shower also made strange noises when...

“I recently stayed in a Superior Double Room and was disappointed by the overall experience, particularly considering the premium rate charged.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel benefits from a large free car park, which was appreciated. However, several aspects fell well below what I would expect from a superior room.
The room felt somewhat dated, and attention to detail was lacking. Only one teaspoon was provided despite there being two mugs in the room....

“Poco prima delle dieci arriviamo in auto all'hotel: un po' più tardi di quando avremmo voluto, perchè l'indirizzo diceva Manchester road, bolton : e noi siamo andati a bolton in manchester road. Non c'era nessun hotel georgian house, perchè in realta è in manchester blackrod, circa 10 km fuori bolton. Comunque molto prima della mezzanotte, quindi largamente in tempo per fare il check in. secondo quando comunicato alla prenotazione. Non c'è posto! Increduli insistiamo, ma non c'è nulla da fare....

“This property is being refurbished and during the day there is constant noise of drilling and banging. The walls of my room were vibrating from the drilling which seemed to be directly above. I received no advance warning of this work and it is not detailed in Expedia’s information about the place. The work starts promptly at 8.30 in the morning although Iheard builders moving around and talking at around 6.50am, which is unacceptable.
In addition, there was no hot water on my second morning....
