“We enjoyed our stay but I was a little disappointed with the lack of usb charging stations, i didn't bring mine, so they loaned us a device. They were very helpful.”

“I booked here for the view of the river from the room, and it was amazing. The room was very spacious. However, the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling away. You could see light all the way around the door. The eaves on the river side was rotten with missing parts that had fallen away. The toilet was so low it seemed like a daycare toilet. There was hair and a bug in the bath tub.”

“Balcony facing the river building was an older one but was clean and well maintained Staff were very good people helpful and courteous will stay there again on next trip.”

“I liked this place. Comfy beds. Beautiful water views. Would stay again. I also liked the proximity to downtown but with a secluded feel. This property is showing a lot of age and wear though. Example..the material on the seats in the lobby and breakfast area is wearing off pretty badly. Definitely needs new seating. The breakfast food is not very good either. It looked good but didn’t taste good. It was free, so I can’t complain too much.”

“This is an older motel, but it has been pretty well maintained. Some of the repairs (drywall) were a little on the shabby side, but overall pretty decent. Breakfast was basic, but good. The best part of this motel is the view. Beautiful mountain views greet you every morning. Very reasonably priced.”

“The Balsam Mountain Inn was a most wonderful place to stay!! EVERY single staff member could not have been more helpful!! To sit on the porch and relax and look at the view was an experience all it's own....sooooo relaxing!! Coffee was a local brand and tasted amazing, along with the pastries. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the long, hot shower was refreshing. The Inn was close to restaurants downtown and just a shirt trip! You will not be disappointed! Please support this...

“Hotel is vey neat, clean and modern. Front staffs are very helpful and friendly, especially evening shift. Room is very clean. Only draw back are Phone doesn’t hook up or line up in room 321. Shower tub floor is very slippery. Morning meal doesn’t have bacon. Not much fruiits in the bucket. Only few apple served.”

“The inn was quaint and quiet. It was set up beautifully for being in Bryson City. The room was clean and spacious. Very comfy feeling. The breakfast every morning was delicious and had many options to choose from that would cater to all types of dietary needs. We added another day to our stay at the last minute and the inn was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The driveway has a hill that was a little tricky with our trailer but able to accommodate even our motorcycle. We will book...
