“Booked this for a mid-roadtrip stay. Hotel was very nice inside - room was clean and comfortable. Some frustrations: (1) room key didn't work so I had to go back down to front desk and get another one - not the end of the world but after a long day of travel was frustrating, and (2) Ordered food "to go" to eat in the room from the "restaurant" - really a bar with limited kitchen capabilities. Food not worth the price. My husband's shrimp dish was served in a styrofoam container with about 6...

“The hot tub was literally a garden tub in the room, the water didn’t get hot at all. The shower would not drain the entire stay, we had to manually hold the lever down each time. The Ac barely blew out, The wifi was out in our room 2/4 days we were there. Some guy cleaned his van right outside our window from 7pm until 3am. I get what you pay for, however it wasn’t cheap by any means. ”

“Blythewood plantation is a wonderful historic mansion set in a small quaint excellent town. Lloyd met all of our needs, the room was clean, and all furnishings were correct for the time period that the home was built. The grounds were well maintained, we even got the pleasure of witnessing a gorgeous wedding during our stay!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern times and take a trip to a much simpler day and time!!!!”

“This room had mold and a cockroach. Had not been cleaned there was mold around the front entrance. I have 4 pictures showing the issue. We want a refund. ”
