Hotel in zona Downtown Historic District, St. Augustine

“Great bartenders and management staff. The 4th they had lobby activities. The bluegrass band choice was interesting. Sitting on the patio was great in the evening. The room was nice once you found the light switches lol Usually no food service from 10-6 but there were shops within walking distance. Location is close enough to walk to downtown. They are expanding so the view was a bit compromised.”

“Our room did smell when we first checked in. I used room spray to help combat the smell. The front office thought it might have been the water the cleaner used to mop with. By the 2nd day the smell was better. The room is nice but I don’t like being on the 2nd floor and going up and down the stairs but apparently that is all they have available. The social hour in the evening is just okay, nothing exciting. And the breakfast is just okay too, nothing exciting. They do close the pool around 7pm...

“The pros: Location, right in the heart of the historic district Large king size bed Cons: Parking, it's a few blocks away and they charge you extra for it plus extra for housekeeping May need earplugs as close to bars (depending on time of day) Needs some updating- the tub was peeling, there was a towel rack not fulling attached to the wall, a missing curtain rod It's labeled a bed and breakfast but there's no breakfast”

“Had to walk to my car. Car parking is off site several blocks. Good thing it was not raining. We stayed there 3 days. If you suffer from knee pain, to get to the room you must go up stairs. That was the worst. I did not read anything online indicating rooms were upstairs. The room had a funky smell when we arrived. When the window a/c was turned on, the smell was nasty. “Was awakened at 1:30 in the morning to a high powered vacuum and the next unit. When opened to door to see people in the hallway, staff said they had a water line burst in that unit and they were sorry. Sorry doesn't help you go back to sleep. You would think they would've turned the water off at that unit, put stuff down, and wait til the morning to do that. The pillows already go flat the minute you touch them. Shower curtain won't stay closed because the rod is sagging. Shower valve wouldn't...
