“Friends insisted we try , and walking into the lobby felt like stepping off a train in Garmisch. It's been family-run since 1989, and the 16 rooms are filled with Bavarian furnishings imported from Austria and Germany, not the usual tourist kitsch. Having lived in Germany for several years, we caught ourselves slipping into German at the front desk out of habit.
We didn't meet the owners, but Donna at reception took wonderful care of us from early check-in through checkout. Warm, efficient,...

“We stayed in the Wunderbar condos and they were great. Location was great. Unit was extremely clean and well maintained. Quiet and we didn’t hear the neighbors. Parking was convenient and easy.

“It’s an excellent location. And it is extremely clean! Only thing to be aware of is it can only be accessed through stairs and there’s quite a lot of them. Also, the bed is pretty firm. ”
