“Everything excellent except lack of advertised hot tubs. One was not available and the other , jets were not working. We have run into this repeatedly at multiple hotels in the past 2 years. Breakfast is great, property is quiet and we love that it is dog friendly and has a BBQ!”

“We stayed in the cabin and loved the space it offered our family. The unit was fresh and clean, and the bunk beds were quite comfortable after a long day of walking through town. While the kitchenette had a sink, a tea kettle, and a Nespresso machine, please note there was no microwave. We were already aware the room didn’t have a TV, so the kids simply used the WiFi for their iPads. Since we visited at the end of February, the pool was still closed for the winter, but the hot tub was spacious...

“Room was lovely. Great bed - very comfortable. Huge shower. Lovely gas fire. Breakfast was poor. A strange offering left hanging in a plastic bag on a hook outside the door. Zero interaction with staff, but maybe some people want to be anonymous. Lovely countryside.”

“The property was older but well maintained and very clean. The indoor pool was definitely a plus to help get the kid's energy out before bed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good and they had a decent selection. ”

“Room was great - clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant. The pool and hot tub were cloudy. You couldn't see your feet, which made the water feel not clean. The breakfast - scrambled eggs, sausage bisquits and gravy - were tasteless and cold. Took it back to my room to warm it in the microwave, but it didn't help the lack of taste.”
