“Charming log-cabin feel of the hotel, easy to find location near the Eastport Marina. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Has a neat indoor-outdoor pool with a pass thru wall between them, sadly the hot tub was not working. Only negative was my room was near the end of the hall and I heard a door banging every 20 minutes, but overall I really liked this hotel.”

“everything about our day was pretty good. The only issue we had was when we got there after 3 o’clock our room was still not clean. We had to wait about a half hour to get into our room. So we were unable to check in until about 4 PM. so we had to sit in the lobby for about an hour.Yes, it was a minor inconvenience, but not enough for me to take away a star. “The room was in great condition and the staff were super courteous. My two main problems were that the electronic lock was dead upon arrival and someone had to come fix it the next day. Once it was fixed, they didnt put it to the origional code, so I got locked out of the apartment when I went downstairs.
The second problem that was nexer fixed was the hot water. For such a cold week in Illinois, I had hoped that the water would be hot enough to chase away the cold, but alas, it was not. I...
