“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hargrave House. It was perfectly located in downtown Doylestown right on Main Street. I stayed in the Hargrave House Suite which is located in the original part of the house. What a charming place to stay! The innkeeper was so accommodating and made sure that I had a wonderful stay.”

“This place is good to stay at if you just want a good night sleep. There are very few amenities. If you want to use a microwave you have to go to the office. Not a bad place but nothing more than a place to stay. Because of a storm the power kept going off. The power did go back on quickly.”

“Design of backroom sink area was most efficient I've ever seen in a hotel! The sink faucet material wasn't great - it showed every water spot.”

“I booked a property through Expedia for six guests to visit Sesame Place. Upon arriving around 7:50 PM, the host told us the property was already occupied. We wasted an hour driving back and forth, plus a six-hour round-trip drive home, and lost our entire second day at the park. I’m requesting a full refund and additional compensation for the stress, wasted time, and ruined plans for our group. ”

“This is by far the best place to stay around New Hope. The staff was amazing, super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and everything felt very relaxing. The breakfast was incredible — honestly as good as a 5-star hotel. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!”

“everything closes too early, the restaurant, Breakfast should be available to guests at least after 11 am, check out time. the pool also closes too early, it's difficult to get food delivered. the rooms are okay, could use a little updating. The coffee maker in the room is old they need to make sure the instant creamer is fresh the one I opened was like a brick. The AC works really good!”

“Everything was well. Just because of weather was poor wifi connection and breakfast could have more choice. In general, I realy recomend this place.”

“The property was nice and the staff was very nice. However, our air conditioner leaked water on the floor …. as in the floor was soaked. We reported it on Saturday night. We checked out Monday morning. It was never fixed. Their solution was to give us more towels to put on the floor. My husband had to walk on the soaked floor to get in and out of bed. On a good note they serve an amazing complimentary breakfast on the weekend.”

“The room was to be non-smoking, it wasn't. That was the least of the issues. The room didn't smell of smoke but smelled awful- permeated everything from clothes to travel bags. Everything we had with us went into the washer when we got home, regardless of if we wore it. Bathroom was filthy from the walls to the tub to the floor. We did not shower there - tub was disgusting. Hairdryer was broken - when picked up fell into 2 pieces and greasy dirty. Furniture was bad - long deep scratches in...

“The staff were very friendly, and helpful. Didn't inform me on amenities, wasn't aware breakfast was available or visible. Definitely needs maintenance upkeep although clean.”
