- Enjoying an enviable position in the picturesque village of Lund, this stunning property is ideally situated for walkers and cyclists alike. Enjoy a short stroll through the village to a wonderful country inn or enjoy one of the more challenging footpaths nearby. The renowned Wolds Way is also within easy reach, winding through some of the most tranquil countryside in England. For a spot of retail therapy visit the market towns of Driffield and Beverley, both within 9 miles, Pocklington 13 miles, and Malton, 20 miles. Slightly further afield is the city of York. For beach lovers, the stunning Yorkshire coast is close by where you can visit popular destinations such as Hornsea (19 miles), Bridlington (20 miles) and Filey.
Wonderfully converted in an 'upside-down' style, step into the delightful hallway, perfect for leaving behind coats and muddy boots after a day exploring the Yorkshire countryside. Here you will also find a utility cupboard with a washing machine. Off the hall are two luxurious king-size bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms with WC. Heading up the stairs you will find yourself in the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with sloping ceilings and oozing with character. Sit back and relax whilst looking out of the large windows that adorn one side of the room. Moving to the stylishly designed kitchen area you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with a freezer compartment. There is also a charming dining area where you can gather around and enjoy a home-cooked meal.
Large double doors from one of the bedrooms lead out to a wonderful, enclosed patio area. Sit back and relax whilst enjoying a morning coffee in the sun. The garden can also be accessed from the parking area. There is off-road parking for one car with additional on street parking and a secure bicycle store.
