“Check in was challenging. We requested a quiet room and we arrived to the room closest to a busy road. Our shower drain was clogged, so I showered in dirty water. The internet was intermittent the entire two days. The area is not pedestrian friendly. The hotel is right by the intersection of two busy highways. It’s noisy. I would not stay there again. Also they were still working on the building we were in. The two upper rooms were done but the bottom was not. We heard construction noise until...

“My overnight stay was absolutely wonderful! Clean room with nice bathroom and comfortable bed and good hot breakfast in the morning. Plus I traveled with my dog and she got a welcome gift! So sweet. Very recommend!”

“We had a very comfortable stay at Franklin Terrace bed and breakfast! Paul is the sweetest person and he takes best care of his customers. It is centrally located and easy walk to Main Street. It’s nice to know that it’s recognized as national historic place. The structure is originally erected in 1887!! If there’s something to complain, the bed is too soft for our convenience and one of the staff Kelly can be little bit more friendly.”

“The entry/exit for this motel is dangerous due to oncoming traffic and road construction. Property was ok but WiFi was spotty. Room was average. Cable tv was good. We didn’t partake of the free continental breakfast. Check in clerk was not very knowledgeable about local restaurants. We would probably not stay there again unless that was the only place with vacancies.”

The staff members we reached could barely communicate in English, and several times they simply hung up on us. “The tubs in our rooms were not clean , carpet had red stains on it looked to be like blood office staff said it was paint but yet there was nothing in the hotel or in the rooms that was painted red. Would have been nice to know the hotel was under construction. The construction workers hung out in the parking lot drinking beer felt very unsafe going to and from the car. Pool was out of order. Had we known all this we would have stayed elsewhere. The so-called Continental breakfast was poorly...

“Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom clean, the property was a bit run down and needing some repair. The carpets a bit dingy, it smelled musty in the room when the a/c was not on. The water pressure in the shower was great! And the breakfast was good.”
