“Our stay at the Lodge was short. I wished it was longer. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were amazing. We had dinner in the dining room. It was delicious. Service was good. Wine was a bit pricey. Breakfast was included in our stay. We had choices of continental or hot menu. Before and after our stay I messaged the hotel and they were prompt in answering my questions.”

“The room was fabulous with a big comfortable bed. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. We were travelling with our dog so couldn’t eat breakfast in the main restaurant but we ate in the tavern instead which was lovely and quiet. We could pick from their menu or order anything from the main restaurant including the buffet too. In the evenings we ate in La Vista and again took our dog, the first was great and again we were well looked after. My only negative would be the cost of...

“A beautiful building in wonderful surroundings. There was nothing at all to fault in our stay at Mar Hall. We stayed in one the rooms in The Barn which was a short walk away from the main building and overlooked the golf course. Special mention to the super comfortable mattress and pillows- perfect! The staff were super friendly and helpful and our breakfast on both mornings of our stay were delicious.”
