Lovely property and great location. Host was responsive and pleasant to deal with. Addressed any concerns we had. Just a heads up there are a lot of stairs for people with disabilities, however our 79-year-old mother was able to handle them just fine.

Fantastic home near Pile Gate!

Visited with my wife and three teenage kids--place was perfect with plenty of room for folks to spread out and enjoy some down time between sight seeing excursions. Would stay again!

As advertised, The Villa was well situated for our extended family outside the crowds of Old Town, but near enough to easily access the tourist areas as desired. Easy access to areas outside Old Town as well, we loved sitting on the front patio to take in the beautiful panoramic ocean views and people-watch the folks walking by down below on their way into Old Town- The walkers stopping to take a picture of the beautiful villa and it's extensive plantings and flowers was not unusual. The Villa's hosts and management were excellent and responsive. Best of all, the entrance to 'Club Boninovo' - an amazing ocean access point frequented mostly by friendly locals is directly across the street and a climb down a hidden stair. Suitable mostly for the right crowd I would guess but we loved it. A cliff ledge and other rocks to jump off of, a ladder to climb out and what looked to be 100 foot depths just feet offshore. We were in the ocean there every day and felt part of an amazing secret enjoyed by a select few.

The best thing about this place is the location. Being 10 mins from the Old town and 10 mins from Lapad makes this Villa ideally situated. A huge bonus is the Boninovo rock beach across the road. My daughters swam there almost every day. The AC blasts cold in all the rooms. The owner bought a new TV while we were there so we could watch World Cup games. The only down side are slick steps. Steps aren’t a big deal, but slick steps are. 3 of us slipped and fell. Put on shoes before the trek up and down. There aren’t any hand rails either which makes things more dicey. The patios are perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. We used them daily. One last thing, the ice maker doesn’t work, so you’ll have to make ice.

We loved the awesome views and relaxing on the patio for coffee every morning. There was plenty of space for our group. There are lots of stairs, but the extra steps just meant we got to eat more gelato! The location was great too - just a short walk or ride to everything we wanted to do. Our hosts were friendly and helpful even after checkout.

Beautifully updated. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Additionally, the villa maintained its historic charm. Eci, the manager, was so helpful and pleasant. Great location to Old Town and Uber pickup at the bus stop.

What an amazing property! We all felt so honored to stay in this beautiful villa - and kept wondering about it’s long history. It was perfect for a group of 12 (one couple had to sleep in twins)! So convenient to old town - and such a great view. The only tricky part is arriving and departing - lots of stairs to lug suitcases up and down, and Ubers/taxis need to drop off a half block up the street. The sidewalk is very narrow leading to the house. We would choose to stay there again - so lovely!

Beautiful Old World Villa in Dubrovnik

Our family of 6 adults recently stayed in this charming villa located within walking distance to the old town of Dubrovnik. The villa is very spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed our time relaxing on the large front porch that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. Our hostess was attentive to our questions and was very helpful in booking our boat excursion.

Amazing Villa

We spent 4 nights in this remarkable property. The house and grounds are just beautiful. Beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect. My kids loved jumping from the rocks to the sea across the street. The kitchen was fully equipped and the check in was easy. A lovely property manager met us and walked us through everything we needed to know.

Home away from home

I can’t say enough about this place. Location, view, cleanliness, atmosphere, everything you can imagine. We couldn’t ask for more. The owners/manager were quick to respond to any questions we had and make sure our stay was enjoyable. We are definitely planning on going back!!!

Exceptional stay at a beautiful, historic villa!

Our stay in this gorgeous, historic villa in Dubrovnik was amazing for our group of 9! Mrs Deranja and Marijana were exceptional hosts that were so helpful, attentive and kind. The villa is beautiful with gorgeous views of the Adriatic Sea and a 10 minute walk to old town Dubrovnik. To top off a magical trip, Mrs Deranja surprised me with chocolate for my birthday 💞 thank you for an extraordinary experience!

An incredible stay in Dubrovnik

This house is exactly as advertised! Lots of space for a large family or a group of friends. Really fun place to dip in the sea across the street and down a bunch of stairs… Not for young children, though. 10 minute walk to old town and a 20 minute walk to the pier with boats to take to the outlying islands. Lovely welcome from the house manager with instructions about everything in the home.

Fantastic location

We were a group of 10 friends staying in this great house.10 minute walk to old city. Highlight had to be the swimming, steep but very accessible set of stairs to wonderful swimming right across the street (swimming not suitable for children). House very clean, beds comfy, kitchen well equipped. Thanks so much!

The Villa is amazing! It was perfect for our group of 3 families with 9 people. What we loved:- separate bedrooms and bathrooms for all couples, plus for one of the kids bedrooms- plenty of room inside the house to spread out- AC in every room - a must during the heat dome- 15 minute walk to Dubrovnik city center; right along the bus line, but Villa is very private as not on the street- beautiful views of the ocean from terrace- well functioning kitchen with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, and an outdoor barbecue- included beach towels- Very responsive hostess! Lots of recommendations for tours and airport transferThe property description is quite accurate, so this is NOT a place for those who don't want to deal with stairs. (Elderly, mobility challenges, very young children) There is quite a set leading from the street to get up to the property itself. And then inside the house, the bedrooms are on the 2nd through 4th floors. Our group had no issues at all and liked how private it was fromThe street and then inside the house with bedrooms on different floors. There is an amazing 'beach' right below the house, but also be aware that this is down 100 steps and as is typical of Croatia in general, it is a rock entry. The younger folks in our group highly enjoyed it and the ability to dive off the rocks. The fact that they could do a quick dip in the Adriatic without traveling on a bus was a highlight for them. All together, I highly recommend!

A wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. We were two families traveling together, with 4 kids total (ages 8-13) and this was the perfect property for us. Close to the city, beautiful views of the sea, and enough room to make everyone comfortable and relaxed for the whole vacation. The hosts and owners were so helpful and attentive, communicating ahead of time with recommended restaurants and a boat charter. They met us at check-in, helped with our luggage and showed us around the property. The house was well-appointed, kitchen was so useful to have, and the views from the terrace were amazing. Definitely worth booking this property and enjoying the amazing city of Dubrovnik!

Above expectations

I cannot recommend this place highly enough - so very comfortable for everyone - many rooms had e suites , beds very comfortable , aircon everywhere so Villa was a joyous return after day our in Croatian heat. Kids (adults) had a great time jumping from rocks across road and swimming in fabulous sea. 10 min walk to old town … could not ask for more . Thankyou

Lovely house - fantastic location with amazing views!

The villa is very spacious - we are a family of 5 and had lots of space to relax - and is well equipped with a very nice kitchen, comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The views over the sea were wonderful - we loved seeing the dolphins - and the Old Town is a short, enjoyable 10 min walk away, and a super market is just around the corner. Mrs Deranja was a wonderful help to us, arranging our transfers to and from the airport and was extremely informative about the house and the area. We had a great time! Thank you very much.

Fantastic villa close to Old Town Dubrovnik

Our two families (4 adults, 5 kids) had ample room to spread out and relax in a great location (~12 min. walk to Old Town). The rooms (bed, bath, kitchen) were clean, and the owner was very responsive. The location is great with one caveat - there is no parking - so it makes getting dropped off or picked up a little tricky but still manageable. Strongly recommend for large families.
