Ottima posizione, sulla baia di Lapad (splendida piscina naturale) e vicino alla fermata dell’autobus 4 che porta in centro storico in circa dieci minuti. Camera vecchiotta ma spaziosa e funzionale, con balcone e vista mare, per un prezzo decente considerando che Dubrovnik ormai è diventata carissima. Di solito non scegliamo mai la formula mezza pensione, ma avendo trovato un’offerta per lo stesso prezzo l’abbiamo presa; sorprendentemente buona la cena a buffet! Non si può dire altrettanto del personale di servizio a suddetto buffet, molto scortese; noi parliamo svariate lingue ma non il croato, ma non ci era mai successo, in anni di Croazia, di trovare del personale così scostante. Migliorabile la pulizia delle camere; non siamo particolarmente schizzinosi ma qui era molto minimal. In generale comunque soluzione ottimale per visite al centro storico e delle gran nuotate nella baia, soprattutto al tramonto (spettacolare da Lapad).

Façil acesso ao ponto de encontro dos tours!
O hotel Komodor é um hotel antigo na melhor praia de Dubrovnik. Cama de casal full, banheiro pequeno e box minúsculo .Toda essa area na frente do hotel não pertence a ele. Localização com façil acesso a cidade velha e ponto de encontro para os tours( Pile Gate ) por onibus que passa ao lado do hotel. O café da manhã buffet é completo e o restaurante tbem oferece jantar buffet ao custo de 19 euros . Atendimento da recepção foi muito atenciosos.

Great location and Exceptional front desk clerks
The location of the hotel is excellent just steps from the beach in Lapad. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and knowledgeable. On September 22, 2023, which was our first night, the front desk clerk, for which we can’t remember her name, was exceptional and went out of her way to help us. It was her last day and last hour working as she was going back to university. She helped us get an Uber ride to take us to the marina. She was truly lovely and kind up to the last minute she worked. This is very telling of what a wonderful character she has. We spent two separate nights here a week apart. The first night we had a hotel room that was smaller and the bathroom was teensy tiny. The second night we spent there a week later, we had a much bigger room and a much bigger bathroom. Both had balconies with great views.

Great base to explore Dubrovnik outside of the hustle of the Old Town. Convenient local bus to old town was €2 and the hotel was a minutes walk from the beach. Good local restaurants. Clean and comfortable room with fantastic sea views.

All hotel staff were so kind supported us warmly. We can access to the beach on foot and get to old town by bus easily. They also offer reasonable buffet dinner, and it costs cheaper than other restaurants around the hotel.

Great location, poor standard rooms
The location of the hotel is great and I’m very happy with choose Lapad bay as our destination in Dubrovnik. The common areas such as the reception, the pool area and the breakfast area was nice clean and modern. The room however had a really low standard. It had an old smelly carpet, old dark wood furniture, no fridge and the smallest bathroom I have ever seen with the door opening inwards! The bed seemed to only have a spring matress not a bed matress on top which was’t very comfortable.

Beautiful view, very friendly and helpful staff, and super close to the bus stop for a quick ride to Old Town. We discovered great walks and restaurants right in the area. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The property is just OK. The hotel is dated, built in 1935 and it shows everywhere. The bathroom is tiny with a shower enclosure you would expect on a submarine 😀. The door to the bathroom has no lock. The air conditioning has no digital controls, rather a knob with approximate settings. The sea view is nice, but you have a pool, a road and beach in front of you. The restaurant with a buffet is really average, especially the dinner. You pay 19 euro for the dinner buffet, and it does not include any drinks, so you have to pay few euro extra even to get a tea. You can be more generous… Would I stay there again? Most likely i will not, will look for something else for these money.

Ficamos no predio anexo. Os quarto sao novos e bons. O problema e que sao 3 andares e nao ha elevador. Poderiam ter colocado um elevador. De resto tudo muito bom.
