Newly updated house in Dubuque's Grandview neighborhood. Near downtown, Clarke University, Loras College & University of Dubuque, Finley Hospital and Mercy Hospital, 15 min from downtown Galena.
Two bedrooms upstairs to comfortably sleep four people, one bed and ensuite bath downstairs, as well as a living room with a full-size hide-a-bed couch that fits two adults. Full, well-stocked kitchen with brand new appliances and full size dining area to make your stay comfortable.

Great stay in lovely location

We loved our stay at this property. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood, and we loved walking through the friendly neighborhood each morning. The house was perfect for us and such a bargain. It was well stocked and clean, and Rylea was the perfect host.

Lovely and comfortable, allergy concerns

Very lovely home, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Easy to find and in a great neighborhood. Parking was great. Easy to get in; WIFI easy to connect to. My family and I were comfy, but we have severe allergies and we noticed a musty smell as we entered, as well as pet smells. I'm guessing there may be current or previous moisture issues in the walls or basement... and maybe a recent pet. We should have realized pets are welcome and asked questions before we stayed. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it did cause allergic reactions for us. The musty smells were unexpected and and are my main issue. Those who are not sensitive would probably not even notice, but for those who are, I would say to keep looking unless these issues are addressed.

Family Reunion

We were much happier staying in a house than a hotel the weekend of our family reunion. The house fit our needs exactly and it was close to our relatives in Dubuque. I spent a summer as a child with my cousins who lived at the time down the street from this house so it brought back many wonderful childhood memories.

Family reunion

Your South Grandview house was perfect for the family's short, weekend visit. Family activities on Saturday were elsewhere, so it was actually only used for the two overnight stays and it was very comfortable for that.

Birthday Celebration

Photos in the listing, matched the home. Very clean and property manager was friendly. She gave clear expections to ensure we knew the rules. I'd recommend this place to stay if your in looking to stay on the Dubuque area.

Fabulous Stay

The house is adorable and has everything you could need. The location is great. They even have supplies for your dog. The hosts were very responsive. We were in town for my dad's funeral. They accommodated our special timing needed for checkout which was incredibly thoughtful. A truly wonderful place to stay.

Dubuque weekend

This property suited our needs. It was comfortable and a good location for all we wanted to visit around Dubuque. We would not hesitate to book here again when in the area. The property manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

A nice escape from the big city

Each of the bedrooms plus the kitchen/living room had their own air conditioning which was nice considering some family did not like it too cold despite the warm humid weather. The living space A/C was also a air purifier & this was helpful for the allergy sufferer in our party. Although we did not have children or pets in our party, the house was ready to accommodate them with plenty of games, age appropriate books, baby bottles plus a pet water bowl & trash bags for dog walking. The porch is close to the sidewalk and we enjoyed waving and briefly chatting with all the walkers & runners. The house has a huge new washer & dry in the basement. The stairs are a little steep to the basement but were easily managed by our group. We also enjoyed the combo drip & Keurig coffee pot. Everyone could easily make their favorite hot beverage. Best of all the house was convenient to all the activities in Dubuque & Galena plus many grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Thank you, Rylea, for sharing your home.

Spacious and Great Location

Lots of room. Main floor is an open space from living room to large kitchen that was really lovely. Bedrooms were good size. Very comfortable. Location makes it easy to get anywhere. Wonderful for taking walks. Ample parking. Host was great.

Cooking easy kitchen

The home is nicely furnished. I like that people are able to leave Seasonings and condiments, etc. for the next guests to use. Made meal prep easier. There’s pots and pans and some storage containers for leftovers. We left a bundle of Gatorade’s, Hopefully the next people will enjoy them. It’s on a busy road. Appreciate using the driveway and bringing in luggage through the back door. They allow pets which we would like to bring our dog. Hopefully soon they will have a fenced area. We didn’t use the TV or the upstairs bedrooms, so can’t comment on them

Perfect for 5

Very clean, updated house, perfect for our group with a bedroom on the main floor and 2 upstairs. Traveling with a baby, we were excited about the toy corner! Would highly recommend.

Family Weekend

Our oldest is at Platteville U of WI and we came for a weekend visit (parents, sibling and dog). This place and location were perfect. The house is clean and bright. Parking was easy and convenient. It was nice the kids could have their own rooms and plenty of space in the master bedroom for dog bed, kennel or pack and play. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. The open living space was wonderful. With three very tall people it never felt cramped. We visited downtown Dubuque and ate all our meals at the house, we had everything we needed. Would definitely return in the future.

Homecoming Visit

We visited Dubuque for college homecoming visiting our daughter. The house was a great fit for our family. We were able to walk/run right outside on Grandview. Kitchen was well stocked so we had a couple meals onsite. Communication was also great!
