“This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. Also no closet or drawers for clothing -- just some external hangers. It does have a gym and a pool -- I used the gym and it was small but the treadmill worked fine. Breakfast is standard motel fare. “Room was clean and the staff were great. The rooftop restaurant has great views, even if a little expensive (however kudos to them for not raising their prices dramatically in recent years). And the location is terrific, close to everything and certainly walkable to Canal Park and beyond.

“Didn’t seem to be the most clean place around. There’s a super stained chair, the bathroom looked like an old closet that was made poorly into a bathroom and the toilet leaks, the curtains were all ripped, AC struggled to keep up, pool area seemed unsafe with a bad smell, the jets in the hot tub barely worked, doors are incredibly thin as are the walls, parking lot is very uneven and a bit sketchy to drive on, TVs are tiny and not super updated, and no housekeeping until the third night?
