Dulverton is often described as the southern gateway to Exmoor National Park. Straddling the Somerset and Devon border in a wooded valley where the River Barle meets the Exe. It's a thoroughly interesting small town. The surrounding landscape is extraordinary: open moorland, ancient woodland, deep river valleys and a dramatic coastline all within easy reach. Walking, cycling, wild swimming and riding are on the doorstep, along with the famous Tarr Steps clapper bridge and the deer-rich expanses of the high moor. Exmoor is one of the darkest sky reserves in England, and on a clear night the stargazing from this corner of Somerset is hard to beat.

Pets Description Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please do not leave the dogs alone in the property at any time, and please do not allow pets on the furniture. There is a roller stair-gate at the top of the stairs to prevent dogs going into the bedroom. Some clean-up sacks are provided, please keep the premises clean. Please bring dog beds, towels etc.
