“The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).”

“This apartment couldn't be nicer. THE DECOR! OMG. The entire apartment must have been recently and completely renovated. Everything is very clean, stylish and updated.....furnishings, decor, bathrooms, including the kitchen which was very well stocked with everything you would need to make meals. Complete with both french press/cafetiere and espresso maker. Comfortable beds, nice towels. The location is right on one of the main streets in Kircudbright. We couldn't have asked for anything more....

“Didn't actually manage to stay here and had to book alternative accommodation at short notice. Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED that this host left a solo female traveler stood outside in the rain and in the dark for over an hour...

“We had the best time! The property was stunning and the hot tub was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away! So clean and everything we needed without having to go anywhere! Can’t recommend enough.”

“This house is truly brilliant, lots of space inside and out, very clean, lots of supplies and well though out ‘extras’ eg, fire lighters for bbq and log burner, sewing kit, games etc. I had contacted the owners for some other information and their response was immediate and supportive, all very reassuring. The house is in a quiet area of the park, easy access to the beach, neighbours very friendly, and extremely good value for money. I can’t recommend this property enough, and hope to return one...

“This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back.”
