“Misty Bay is set on a gorgeous piece of property. It is very clean and well maintained. We stayed 3 nights. We were quite busy seeing the sights of the Ring, Dingle and the whole area so we were not there much. It was a bit further out than we thought. Nice kitchenette to use but we were very disappointed that the washer and dryer were not for guest use. Maybe we missed that in the Expedia write up but though pictured it is not available. Lovely setting though.”

“A beautiful location and a charming hotel Sheen Falls Lodge enjoys a truly remarkable location, surrounded by beautiful scenery and overlooking the river and waterfalls. The setting is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the property, and the hotel itself is very beautiful, with plenty of character and an elegant atmosphere. The service was generally pleasant and courteous, but not always at the level of professionalism and attention to detail we would expect from a Relais & Châteaux hotel....

“The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”
