“This is an inexpensive motel. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Linens and towels were clean. The location is convenient but pretty sketcy.”

“Breakfast was okay, good coffee, reasonable selections, toaster waffles, instant oatmeal, some kind of scrambled egg souffle, cereal, etc. Staff was friendly and quick to help. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable. I have been here a few times and will stay again.”

“I think it was a good place to stay. It's a bit loud near the highway but the window is very good at blocking the sound. Better than you'd expect for the price.”

“Clean and comfy hotel. The staff is wonderful and breakfast is ok. However the doorknob to the bathroom fell off of our friend’s door while he was in the bathroom and was locked inside for an hour and the fans/AC units are really loud so maybe bring earplugs or noise canceling headphones. But otherwise a good stay.”

“Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked...

“The property was over priced for what it is , I had called the hotel to ask about adjusting dates due to a family emergency and the front desk person stated she would contact the manager and get back to me but I never heard anything and no mention at check in either ……. The hotel is okay but I would expect better at the rate they charge , they did however give a water bottle at check in but I’d preferred they keep the gift and charge appropriately………”

“We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here.”
