  • Questo bellissimo Cape Cod è disponibile per il noleggio. Con tre ampie camere da letto e due bagni, il cottage offre un comfort eccezionale per una famiglia di sei persone. Lo splendido ponte avvolgente è coperto nella parte anteriore e offre una splendida vista sul lago e sulla fine del promontorio. C'è un ampio cortile con pendenza graduale per far giocare i bambini o esercitare gli animali domestici. La tranquilla strada sterrata che passa davanti al cottage è utilizzata solo da altri abitanti del settore ed è perfetta per andare in bicicletta o camminare.

    La porta d'ingresso nel cottage conduce in una cucina di campagna completamente attrezzata per cucinare. Appena fuori la cucina è un affascinante set da pranzo con vista sul lago. Il soggiorno nella parte anteriore del cottage dispone di confortevoli arredi di qualità per gli ospiti di godere di film serali o giochi da tavolo. La camera da letto al primo piano ha un letto matrimoniale e si trova accanto al bagno spazioso al primo piano con doccia / vasca combinata.

    Il secondo piano dispone di due camere da letto aggiuntive, ciascuna con abbaini per migliorare la vista sul lago. Una camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale e gli altri due letti singoli. Un bagno completo con doccia si trova nel corridoio in cima alle scale.

    Il lungolago naturale di livello e la spiaggia di ciottoli sono perfetti per i bambini. La profondità dell'acqua è graduale per il nuoto ideale e un molo è disponibile per ormeggiare la tua barca.

    Le attrazioni vicine includono il ristorante fronte lago Switzerland Inn, aziende vinicole premiate come McGregor Vineyards e Ravines Wine Cellars, Windmill Farm e Craft Market, e a 10 minuti in auto sia da Penn Yan che da Hammondsport!

The house was the perfect location. We were directly half way between Hammondsport and Penn Yan. We had great views of the lake and were close to tons of great wineries! My toddler had a fun time playing in the large yard and at the lake’s edge. Loved our stay!

Excellent place

The house was very clean and loaded with most essentials. All the beds were in pretty decent shape, and ample room for the four of us. The location is great! Beautiful view of the lake, and walking distance to the “Switze” restaurant were we ate twice. Highly recommend this place.

The house was very clean, pretty and in the perfect spot. We made a mistake with parking and they were so polite and kind in helping us fix the problem. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Third time in the Finger Lakes

We loved the place and would rent it again if we head this way. Quiet, clean and the staff responded immediately to a problem with the water. Good location and quiet neighborhood. Also enjoyed the local restaurant Switz which is about half a mile away and great lake views and the Curtiss Museum and the Boat Museum in Hammondsport.

Very clean and nice place. When you pull into or out of the driveway you need to pay attention because there are big rocks lining the driveway. Poor water pressure. But would stay at this place again.

Relaxing Views of Lake

This was a last minute booking for us and we enjoyed lake views from the porch and dock during the week. Walking distance to both the Switz and Keg & Barrel with good atmospheres and eats. We enjoy cooking in, and gave a slightly lower rating because most dishes were dirty, like they were used and just put back in the cupboard. That said, location was perfectly central to wineries, hiking, restaurants, and other activities. Pups enjoyed their daily walks, swims and kayaking!

The house itself was very clean, very pretty. Not an easy place to park at considering the next-door neighbors have put up huge boulders and makes it very hard to get in and out where you’re supposed to park. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is good size but probably could use a new mattress wasn’t very comfortable at all. it’s nice to know that it is pet friendly, but we didn’t take our pets after all. It would’ve been better if I had more people going with us but all in all it was a nice day. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch to see the water.

Nice home, well equipped and clean. In a convenient area close to both Hammondsport and Penn Yan. We were there the second week of September and it turned rainy and cold, but if we’d had better weather we may have been disappointed in the very small beach. But it’s truthfully represented in the pictures so no complaints.

Great little vacation home!

It was my husband, myself, son, daughter and son-in-law in this pet friendly home. It was the perfect size. We enjoyed the front porch so much. The welcome package came in so handy with 2 dish tabs, dish soap….only complaint our shower had several hairs in it upon arrival.

Great house in a good location

The house fit all of our needs. It was clean and comfortable and in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. When we arrived, we found a goodie bag for us and a goodie bag for our dog. That was a nice surprise. Being across the road from the lake was amazing. We took in some gorgeous sunsets while relaxing on the dock. The covered porch was also a great feature. We truly enjoyed our stay at Lakewood Landing and would recommend it highly. We look forward to staying there again.

Enjoyable

This was our second time staying at this location. We absolutely love everything about it. They only thing we didn't enjoy was the water pressure at all fixtures. When taking a shower, the water just trinkled out of the shower head. There is either a broken pipe somewhere or the owner has to readjust the amount of the waterflow. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.

Good property and location. Steps coming into back door too high for older people. Steep slope from driveway to back door. Very hazardous and dangerous to older renters . Driveway “ poles and rocks are poor barriers when backing out of driveway. No railings from front porch steps to front yard. Basic safety issues that should be addressed.

Horrible rocks lining both sides of a very narrow drive way. Hard to unpack cars.

Pros. Quiet, very clean, great road for walking. Close to stores, wineries, restaurants, etc. Cons: very narrow driveway lined on both sides with rocks, we drive a small car and had a hard time getting in and out of the driveway. Opened car doors into bushes. Very low/uneven water pressure. Not enough bath towels or kitchen towels. There are no shades or curtains in the living areas. Like a goldfish bowl. Downstairs bed was horrible. Kept rolling into the middle of the bed all night. Not a very good lake view. Trees and houses are across the street. Won’

Great location!

House is cute and great location to wineries. We arrived 2 hours early. I texted the number I was given for communicating to see if there was any chance to access the property. They were not helpful and said they would have to verify it was ready. Tried again a half hour before check-in by dialing the main number. Fortunately the lady I spoke with was much more helpful than the person responding to the text. She was able to get us access. It was also clear that no one had stayed there recently and the unit had been ready for some time. When we arrived the outside chairs were gross and covered with cut grass that appeared to be stuck to them for a while so we had to clean them off. Property was clean for the most part, however, there was hair around the edge of the bath tub which is not acceptable. One of the beds in the summary paragraphs is listed incorrectly as king. This was only a full, maybe a queen, which was very disappointing. There were no directions for which of the three remotes to use for the television. I understand this is a lake view, but at night you may want to watch something on the television. Also, the TV is very small and the one in the upstairs bedroom is not bigger than 13" and could not get it to work with. I was extremely disappointed that someone was there to mow the lawn on Saturday morning at 9:30. We were only there from Thursday - Monday so it seems this should have been done before or after our stay, or at least after 11 AM.

Great stay

The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Clean comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The dock is across a quiet road. The road has zero traffic but is a great walkway to the Switz. There’s a brew pub about a half mile walk away as well. We hung out on the dock on the chairs they had down there. It’s a little shallow but we were able to dock our boat without any issues. It didn’t rain but if it did there was a big covered porch. The place was great.

welcoming and very thoughtful

I'd say the property is well managed. After we booked the cottage, they sent me emails with checking in/out instructions, list of what to bring, ect; in each email, I was assured that I can call them for any concerns/questions/issues. We felt so welcomed! It's very clean, well equipped and they even had treats for my dogs! How lovely and thoughtful! The neighbor is very quiet, the water of the lake is very clear and clean. One more thing I want to mention is that there was a note left with one of the planters on the porch to remind us to water it carefully as there was a bird nest in there! During our stay, the birds were hatched! It shows that the property owner/management staff are so caring and friendly! Thank you for letting us had a wonderful/relaxing vacation there!
