Strawberrybank è un delizioso bungalow semi-indipendente adatto per un massimo di 4 persone ed è situato appena a nord del villaggio di Longforgan nella Carse di Gowrie. Dista 9 miglia da Dundee (V & A Museum e Discovery Point) e 16 miglia da Perth. Si trova a meno di 1 minuto in auto dalla A90 ed è in una posizione eccellente per esplorare la Scozia.

Strawberrybank ha un ingresso privato e un parcheggio per 2 auto. Dispone di un salone, 2 camere da letto (una con bagno privato), una cucina moderna completamente attrezzata, un bagno di famiglia e un giardino appartato.

Strawberrybank dispone di un confortevole salone con TV Freeview e lettore dvd e una porta finestra che conduce al giardino. C'è una moderna cucina completamente attrezzata con tavolo da pranzo in modo da poter gustare i pasti in tutta comodità. Dispone di due accoglienti camere da letto, una con letto matrimoniale e un bagno privato con cabina doccia. L'altra camera da letto ha letti con cerniera e link che possono essere 2 letti singoli o un letto super king se uniti insieme. Entrambe le camere hanno un armadio / cassettiera e TV Freeview. Ha anche un bagno di famiglia con doccia sopra la vasca. C'è anche un negozio con lavatrice.

Strawberrybank, beneficia di essere nelle immediate vicinanze della doppia carreggiata A90, fornendo eccellenti collegamenti stradali sia a nord che a sud. Dundee e Perth sono entrambe facilmente raggiungibili e forniscono l'intera gamma di servizi che ci si aspetterebbe dalle principali città. La vicina A90 consente inoltre di raggiungere facilmente St Andrews e East Neuk of Fife, Pitlochry, Edimburgo, Glasgow e oltre. I campi da golf di St Andrews, Gleneagles e Carnoustie distano solo 35 minuti in auto. Siamo inoltre in una buona posizione per molti luoghi di nozze locali e il Ninewells Hospital è a soli 10 minuti di auto.

Dundee sta vivendo un rilancio con lo sviluppo del lungomare, incluso il museo V&A e negli ultimi anni ha migliorato la sua offerta di negozi, bar e ristoranti indipendenti.

Ci sono fermate degli autobus per Dundee e Perth a pochi passi (5-8 minuti).

Great Stay in Scotland

The rental was perfect for two couples having two bathrooms in this cozy and effecient home. The location was convenient as we traveled to Edinburgh several times easily with the close proximity to the motorway. Jennifer, the host, was very helpful with our day trips. I highly recommend staying at Strawberrybank! TheStrawberrybank!

It really was great. The house was very very cosy and clean. We had our privacy and if we had any questions or needed advice we got response within 5 minutes! I can´t think of a better place to spent your vacation!

Strawberrybank cottage

We had a good stay at Strawberrybank cottage. Very clean and welcoming. Kitchen could do with some more stocking as in like extra glasses, plates and so on. 4 of each is a bear minimum. Jennifer is a good host though. Extra thank you for zipping and linking the bed for us 😉.

A home away from home

Jennifer made sure everything was perfect for our stay. She had a folder with all the places to visit organized nicely. The property was clean and smelled great. We recommend this property for a relaxing time away from the city, close to restaurants and events.

Great place to stay

Great host, Jennifer met us when we arrived, which was lovely. The cottage was super clean and is well equipped. We have 2 young boys that loved playing in the garden and on the tyre swing. Parking was great as you have your own spaces. Great location for us as we were visiting family. We'll definitely be back.

Relaxing Time

Went to stay with my mum, sis and sis in law just for some time out. The cottage had everything we needed and was so clean and tidy. We could not fault Jennifer with keeping in touch in the runnup to our visit. I cannot say anythin negative about our visit or the cottage. We are definitely planning to go back.

Quiet holiday

I spent at week at this bungalow with a friend for a quiet holiday. The bungalow is situated outside the village of Longforgan in a rural location although not far from the A90 so there was some traffic noise but not too intrusive. There is a garden with a table and four chairs. It was very hot and sunny the day we arrived so we thought it would benefit from an umbrella but there didn’t seem to be one and for the rest of the week, although the weather was reasonable, we didn’t really need one. The bungalow is equipped for four people but there is no dishwasher which some people might miss. The hot water takes a long time to get to the taps but there was information about this and neither shower worked very well. The en-suite shower room is quite small. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay at Strawberrybank. There is easy access via the A90 to places of interest such as Dundee, St Andrews and places along the NE coast. We particularly liked Broughty Ferry where we had an excellent lunch on our last day at Sol y Sombra. Otherwise, we were unimpressed by the food available in local pubs but Dundee has a lot of eateries and is only about 5 miles away where there are also supermarkets.

Great vacation home in Longforgan

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at Strawberrybank in Longforgan. Great location for our visit to Auchterhouse. We could walk to Longforgan village for dinner. The cottage was well-equipped and super clean. We loved the private yard. Jennifer was a great hostess. I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Lovely quiet cottage

Perfect cottage for a family break. Ideally located for visits to nearby cities and coastal villages. Everything you could need inside, and a pretty garden outside. Lots of local information in the cottage and easy communication with Jennifer, the owner, on booking and arrival made the whole break stress free.

Great property. Wonderful central location for many day trips. Easy access to major roadways. Dundee and Perth close for food shopping and train stations. Owner was wonderful to work with. Very peaceful. Property was clean, efficient and had all the necessary items. Would highly recommend.

Perfect home from home, lovely host

Strawberry Bank was a lovely, well maintained holiday home with a friendly and helpful host. It has a great location for day trips to five and the surrounding area. We travelled with our 2 year old toddler and found everything to be very family friendly and accommodating, especially the mostly enclosed garden and the big lounge area.

Perfect

Jennifer the owner sent great directions and kept in touch. She greeted us when we arrived. Cottage was spotless and had everything you needed. Very clean and tidy, light and airy. I would love to recommended this but want to keep the little gem to myself haha. Very peaceful and an ideal spot for sight seeing but close to amenities.

Great accommodation.

Clean, comfortable and cosy. Nice little private garden. Well equipped with good beds. Bathroom and en-suite so no need to share if there are two couples which we were. Jennifer very friendly and helpful. Great parking on drive right outside of cottage. Quiet, handy for exploring Dundee and surrounding area. Would recommend.

Amazing property

We stayed 4 nights at this amazing property, one of the best we have ever stayed in. There was nothing you could fault with it, from booking, communication with Jennifer to the cleanliness and overall presentation of the property. This was ideally placed for sightseeing Fife and Dundee. Thank you Jennifer, hopefully be back soon
