A soli 2½ miglia da Dunkeld, c'è un'abbondanza di storia e patrimonio da esplorare .. Piano terra:

Osprey Cottage (rif. 15885) è stato convertito per creare un rifugio super vacanza con tappeti su pavimenti in legno lucido al piano superiore nelle zone giorno e accoglienti camere da letto sottostanti. Heather Croft (rif. 26213) è un bungalow indipendente nelle vicinanze, sapientemente progettato dai proprietari con molte finestre per massimizzare la vista sulla campagna circostante. But 'n' Ben (ref 28139) è un affascinante fienile convertito per due. Una scelta ideale qualunque sia il tempo. Accanto a Dunkeld c'è Birnam, sede della mostra Beatrix Potter e dove ci sono passeggiate lungo il fiume lungo il Tay. Un campo da golf a 18 buche si trova a 1½ miglia di distanza accanto al Loch of Lowes Wildlife Reserve. Ci sono passeggiate e piste ciclabili nella foresta confinante. Pescare localmente. Negozi e pub 2½ miglia.

What an absolute gem! We've had the most relaxing Christmas break at Osprey cottage. The owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet and the cottage was spotless, had everything we needed, was super warm and cosy and very quiet. The wifi in the cottage worked well for us and we watched the birds from our windows every day. Dunkeld is short distance away by car. Plenty to do and see in the area. We haven't seen all the things we wanted to so we'll definitely be back. Thank you so much for your warm welcome & hospitality Leslie & Heather x

We had a great time.

We spent two weeks in August at the Ospray Cottage and were enthusiastic about the cosy and warm atmosphere. The house is comfortably furnished with attention to detail, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The location off the town center of Dunkeld is perfect to people who want peace and quiet. We were also impressed by the large number of animal species in the surrounding area and the numerous opportunities for walking/hiking. Our warmest thanks to Heather and Leslie for this beautiful vacation.

This idyllic cottage is located in a sheltered valley with pine forest and pasture all around.

This idyllic cottage is located in a sheltered valley with pine forest and pasture all around. It's a great place if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and tranquil to relax, go for woodland walks or simply observe the local wild life. If you like to go site seeing then you are only half an hour to 45 minuets from the small towns of Pitlochry, Crief and Aberfeldy and from Blair Castle, The Palace of Scone, Castle Menzies and a little further out to Glamis. If you like shopping the House of Brewer near Blair Athol is worth a visit. We have been travelling to Scotland for the last decade and have found a little gem with Osprey Cottage. The only negative was from my daughter because the Wifi signal wasn't the best, however as the whole point of the holiday was to get away and relax I thought it was a good thing.

Our 3rd stay at Osprey cottage. It is ideally placed for sight seeing but off the beaten track and very quiet and relaxing. The birds, red squirrels and deer are literally on the doorstep and dog walks from the cottage are excellent.

Ideally situated for loch of the lowes, osprey arrived during our weeks holiday. Dunkeld and Birnam good places to wander around, plenty of history to see. Osprey cottage was amazing and were made most welcome from the owners.

The weather wasn't very seasonable , but once we mastered the heating , was very comfortable.

The weather wasn't very seasonable , but once we mastered the heating , was very comfortable.The beds were comfortable, and the bedding good.A well stocked kitchen ,with everything you needed , a snug living room. On the edge of a forest , with good walks for the dogs,deer coming down from the hills in the morning and evening, bird feeders hanging outside the kitchen windows attracting a lot of birds, including pheasants, and red squirrels .

amazing holiday cottage and location

Highly recommended on many fronts, great hosts, helpful and friendly, great cottage, comfy, cosy and well stocked with all you need, great location, lovely walks and views, nearby forest walks and abundant wildlife brightening the day. Relaxing environment, peaceful and full of character.
