IL COTTAGE
"Elizabeth on Crown" è una gemma coloniale ed è la quintessenza di Harbour Island vintage, situata nel cuore di Dunmore Town. La cornice originale in legno di "pino Abaco" avvolge ancora le sue pareti esterne, un omaggio alla sua architettura lealista. Il cottage è stato restaurato con lussi moderni e dotato di un eclettico mix di dis 'e dat', vecchie e nuove, opere d'arte locali, mobili rielaborati e letti artigianali.

LA TUA CASA E SPAZIO
La cucina ha tutti gli elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, con utensili da cucina e stoviglie. Qui troverai un set completo di lavatrice e asciugatrice per estrarre sabbia e sale e una semplice dispensa per riporre la merce. Il tavolo da pranzo e il bar asciutto sono appena finiti.

Lo spazio abitativo è progettato per i giorni pigri. Siediti e leggi uno dei libri scelti dalla nostra biblioteca, oppure guarda abbuffati i tuoi programmi Netflix preferiti sulla nostra smart TV o esplora l'intero negozio Apple Music sullo smart speaker, dipende da te.

LE STANZE
Al piano inferiore ci sono due camere da letto, che condividono un bagno jack e jill. La master suite è al piano superiore appena oltre la camera dei bambini (per accedere alla camera da letto principale, si passa attraverso la camera dei bambini).

PATIO ESTERNO
Saluti serali e cene a lume di candela sotto le stelle, radunatevi con la famiglia, i vecchi amici, i nuovi amici e accendete la griglia.

L'ISOLA
Harbour Island è lunga solo 3 miglia, ma offre alcuni dei migliori ricordi di vacanza. Puoi passare ore sulla nostra spiaggia di sabbia rosa sdraiati al sole ... quando hai avuto abbastanza sole che puoi prendere, prendere un drink da uno dei bar dell'hotel proprio sulla duna o portare i tuoi dissetanti dai vini locali e negozi di alcolici o il mercato degli alimenti per bambini. Una volta reidratato, cavalca la spiaggia trotterellando con Marty. I loro nomi sono Star Boy, Tex, Briland e Princeton.

Boutique negozi, pub stravaganti e baracche di pollo punteggiano l'isola. La cucina raffinata qui non ha limiti, quindi crea la tua lista e fallo. Visita il "Lone Tree" presso Girls Bank e prova un'insalata di conchiglie mentre ci sei. Unisciti ai nostri venditori al mercato degli agricoltori il mercoledì e assicurati di visitare la biblioteca, è uno spettacolo storico ... Il "Sir George W. K Roberts Public Library "è la seconda biblioteca più antica delle Bahamas.

Giù al porto, puoi noleggiare una piccola barca per respirare l'aria frizzante salata della baia, jet ski, paddle board, snorkeling, pesce osseo o pesce per dentici e cernie su una carta.

Cute cottage vibe

We truly enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth on Crown. We found it to be an excellent location, clean and well stocked, a magical island vibe. As long as you are prepared for roosters crowing in the early morning (which is everywhere on the island, not just here), and have earplugs, you will love it here!

Adorable cottage in town

We loved our stay at Elizabeth on the Crown. It is the perfect location for teenagers who can walk everywhere. The owner was incredibly gracious and allowed us to check in early. We loved the coffee at Cocoa daily too!

Our stay over Christmas

Our stay was amazing...how can it not be at Harbour Island. I do think it could be clearer that the queen bed is not in the upstairs master bedroom. My husband and I decided to stay downstairs in the guest room simply to have a queen size bed instead of a double bed. Our door was a leaver door with slats that didn't lock so not a lot of privacy. Super trival but I do think a shower door down stairs would be helpful instead of a small piece of glass. We seemed to get water on the floor and mopped it up after each shower. The property own was awesome, helpful, prompt and kind.

Infested with Termites

I tried to write a detailed description but apparently they limit the characters so I’ll have to Cliff’s note this one. In short… The house looks great in pictures and it is old and cute. BUT…upon arrival I noticed the entire foundation is sagging and not level. To the point that we were joking about it. There was even one part that literally felt like you could jump right through the floor. I thought it was just because it was old but we found out on the 3rd night of our 4 night stay that it was in fact infested with termites. After a big rain we came back from dinner and the entire second floor was flooded with thousands of termites flying and crawling on everything. We had to have our upstairs guests sleep on the couch downstairs, and even there they were coming through the ceiling light fixtures and baseboards. Gem, the property manager, gave a lackluster excuse that it’s the islands and there are bugs after rain but this wasn’t a random mosquito or two. The house is literally falling apart. We could only use 2 out of 3 bedrooms and when I asked Gem for a partial refund she ignored my request. I contacted VRBO and they reached out and she ignored that as well. This house is literally falling apart and is infested with termites. It’s disgusting and not safe. Stay away at all costs and understand that if you do choose to stay here and there is a problem, the owner will completely ignore you and do nothing about it. SCAM!!!!!

Darling house in town

The house is very darling and located near everything. We did hear the music from Daddy Ds but came prepared with earplugs. They had a lovely welcome basket and cold beers in the frig which was really nice. As far as the 2nd floor bathroom I was fine with it as I am not tall but my husband did bump his head throughout the week. All in all I loved how we could walk everywhere on the island and in town to yummy dinners.

Great Week in Harbour Island

Fantastic stay at Elizabeth on Crown. Very quaint cottage. Location is perfect close to grocery, liquor and shops. Few minute ride by golf cart to the beautiful beaches. Great place to rent chairs and umbrellas by the Dunmore think it’s called Ms V’s. Overall the property was as advertised. Beds were super comfortable, tons of towels for the beach and Gem welcomed us with some great starters (snacks) which we were not expecting. The bakery, Arthur’s, is right next door. We loved it. Would go back.

Family Friendly

Stayed for 5 days with my husband and 3 kids ages 3, 5, and 7. Overall a very cozy house for our family. Master bathroom situation a bit odd but I was prepared for that from reviews. Only complaints would be very low water pressure and the nightly concert that can be easily heard from Daddy Ds (especially on New Years Eve). Kids also woke up with the roosters every morning but I anticipated that! Lovely house and rental-extra bonus was the abundance of towels and well equipped kitchen/bar. Welcome note and some food items were a treat as well. Hope to return soon!

Great house!

We just returned from our first trip to Harbour Island. We loved it! The house is cute, clean, and charming. The location is convenient to the Pigly Wigly for groceries. And a quick golf cart ride to the bay or the beach. The ONLY way to improve this house would be in the master bathroom. We didn’t love the lack of privacy (not having a bathroom door) or the inability to stand up straight at the sink due to the sloped roof. But both of those things were easy enough to over look when the rest of the house is clean and comfortable and the island is so wonderful.

Lovely Harbour Island Cottage

Wonderful harbour island cottage with solid amenities. The cottage is well located in town, close to shopping and an easy 10 minute walk to the pink sand beach. The wifi worked great (my husband, who had to do some work while on the island, was appreciative of this!) as did the air conditioning (our whole family was appreciative of this!). Gem was super responsive, easy to work with and a very caring host. The welcome basket, complete with gifts for our children, was a great surprise and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend Elizabeth on Crown for anyone looking to stay on Harbour Island!

Amazing escape!

We loved staying in this adorable house. It had so much personality and charm, and we especially enjoyed hanging out on the back patio. Gem was a wonderful host, even providing us with some pantry items upon arrival. The location was perfect - very central. And breakfast at Cocoa’s every morning was a delicious routine. Highly recommend!

Love Harbour Island!

Gem was a fantastic communicator and very helpful before and during our stay. The house is beautifully done and had everything that you would need for your trip. It is in a fantastic location - easily walkable to town and the harbor. One downfall to the house is that it is across the street from the nightclub, which is open from 10 pm - 1 am every night. The music is quite loud and you can feel the beat. Also, the roosters start making their noise around 4;30 am so if you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. Ear plugs were provided but didn't work for all. The upstairs bathroom has a vaulted ceiling so men cannot stand while using the toilet and there is no mirror in the bathroom. These are minor issues but you should be aware. The house is lovely and we spent a lot of time on the back deck for drinks. The flies were crazy during dinner time even with citronella so we weren't able to eat outside on the nights we grilled at home. We loved our $11 per person allowance at Cocoa for breakast, which is a short walk from the house. A great bonus! Again, Gem will help with anything!

Perfect for a friends getaway

Gem's is lovely and made our stay on Harbour Island an absolute delight. Right in town, it's convenient to anywhere on the island--walking distance to groceries, shops, and restaurants on the harbour side. It's also a very quick drive to any of the hotels on the beach. The home itself is nicely decorated beautifully, and the backyard was perfect for having friends over for drinks after dinner, or reading a book in the afternoon post-beach. I'll definitely be coming again!

Wonderful Vacation!!

We really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth on Crown. Every detail was attended to in this lovely home. It is perfectly cozy and clean. The location is great - close to everything. The addition of the complimentary breakfast was delightful!! We truly looked forward to Coco every day - sometimes went 2 times a day! Communication was on point and easy. Would love to stay here again!! Thank you for everything : )
