“Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....

“We were very comfortable with our stay. I didn't realize the bedrooms weren't air conditioned but as long as you close it up during the day and open up the bedroom windows in the evening it is good. It was nice staying in a place so new. Everything was very clean. It's a very short walk to Woolworths and the Warehouse Extra (great store) as well as restaurants. It's about a 40 minute walk to Cathedral Square. ”
