“I rarely post reviews. I post maybe one review a year. I do so only when one of two things happens. 1) A business pi$$es me off so bad that I need to vent to recover from their gross incompetence. Or 2) a business far exceeds my expectations. #2 applies with the Roam Inn. I had seen several recommendations on the Upper Peninsula Travel Facebook page and we wanted to spend one night in Munising on our tour of the U.P., so I decided to book a night. “The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very dog friendly. Lots of space to run. The little lounge on the lower level was great. Not a lot of food choices but the Pizza was good. and the beer was cold.”

No major frills & a little dated in decor, but our room was clean & smelled wonderful, like lavender - the whole hotel was very clean, continental breakfast was amazing and the on-site hot tub was giant, very hot and relaxing after a day of hiking in the snow. “We booked two nights at Explorer Munising, and after reading some of the reviews, it made me a little worried of how our stay would end. But this place is absolutely AMAZING! THE LOCATION IS 10/10 the property is absolutely beautiful! To the people who say there isn’t instructions for check-in, they make the door access extremely easy, you don’t park across the street from the cabin. “Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean. There were no extras like lotion or things like that I may have asked, but I didn’t really need the right thing. The breakfast was typical with waffles, egg sausage, toast, bagels, yogurt. The staff was very friendly and polite.”
