“This was an amazing hotel full of games and all sorts of fun for the kids like mini golf and go carts. It is very conveniently placed with short travel distance to good food, shops while not being to far from all of the parks or Des Moines bike and nature trails. The staff was amazing and very helpfull. At one point there was some trouble with them and Expedia but they were all over it. They fixed everything and told me not to worrie about it. “Fleas! I was there an hour. I was covered in flea bites. I just wanted a couple days to rest before I have a baby. The manager was hostile. He did not issue a refund, even though I checked out almost immediately. One of the staff was concerned about my staying there because it’s such an unsafe motel. They were talking about how to keep people breaking into my room to hurt me. A dog was barking loudly… I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in this place for more than an hour.”
