So Disappointed

Our first room smelled horrible, but in all fairness, they did get us another room. Even in the new room, the bathroom flooded whenever someone took a shower. Gross! The floors were visibly dirty. The pool area has pools of sitting water that is not part of the pool. Part of it was the group of guests staying there, but the staff didn't do anything about the number of boys running through the halls, even late into the evening, the glass beer bottles at the pool, and the barefoot children on the exercise equipment. Their complimentary breakfast consisted of dried up fruit, couple options for cereal, and ONE slice of white bread in their pastry case. They have a sign that states a fine will be assessed for smoking and pets, yet there was a large dog behind the counter at the front desk. You can see into the laundry area standing at the front desk. When I went to the front desk for shampoo (there were only two bottles of conditioner in our room), the employee sat eating and staring at me. Even when I called for her, she continued to eat and state, and another employee eventually came to help me. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit!

The beginning of a tradition.

Unfortunately we were only there for a short time, but check in was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was quite comfortable and clean. It was convenient Lee located near a city market so we could get groceries. We did not experience the breakfast since we are up for the easter sunrise service in Vail.

The pool was great, staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Our room could have been cleaner I felt, the carpet has almost a sticky feel to it and there was a bloody sweatshirt left in the closet

Cleanliness could have been better. Dust in corners nail clippers on floor next to bed. Only one coffee cup in room and only one wash cloth. This was a suite w king size bed made for 2 people

Nice hotel right off the highway; newer rooms

I stayed there on a Friday night. We checked in pretty late with no issues. Room was surprisingly great. It had been remodeled not too long ago. The bed was great. The staff was super friendly. The wifi worked great. Lobby looks like a cute mountain lodge. Breakfast was fine. They could use a second waffle maker, only because that was popular, and people were using it all the time. I was honestly very surprised at the quality of this hotel based on the room rate. My only minor suggestion is that they monitor the breakfast room more frequently. I had dig around in the cabinets to put out forks and napkins myself, as they were out, and people weren't sure where they were. A nice lady only checked on the breakfast room once while I was eating, much later. But it was minor. The pool looked great.

Great hotel, beautiful views

Mountain views all around, quaint, clean, lobby felt like being in a log cabin. The lobby offered us fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and fresh pop corn in the evening. When we asked for two extra sets of towels we got three!! The beds were so comfortable.

Nice enough

I've never stayed at a hotel that cost this much before. Stayed at the one next door for less than half the price - similar quality.

Really Disapointed

This hotel smelled like they sprayed many bottle of Fe-breeze in the lobby. They were not overly friendly. My air conditioner didn't work very well. I would stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites or Hawthorne Suites over this selection!

A basic stay

I like that that several markets are a five minute walk. The room was clean but hallways could use vacuuming, There was a throw rug near the elevator with a piece cut out of it and it was bunched up creating a tripping hazard. I pulled it flat but there were three people behind the desk downstairs chatting and laughing. I wondered why they were not doing the needed things. There was also trash outside that would be easy for them to pick up. The breakfast was the basic and the dining room was clean.

Clean, easy, accessible. Only problem: pool maintenance poorly timed for upcoming holiday weekend & was not informed of this at time of booking.
