“The room was spacious and immaculate. The food was delicious. The grounds and all well maintained. My only complaint is the beds are hard. At 1 AM, I took the quilt out of the duvet cover and laid it on top of the bottom sheet to help pad the mattress. It wasn't great but it was much better. But everything else was stellar.”

“The building was nice and clean. Cold weekend heat in room was very good. The room we had The Dillinger Room the Bed was basically inches off the floor for me and my 70 year old partner it was rather hard to get up and downWe wished they had a 2nd chair for relaxing 1 chair just doesn’t work. “The room was dirty & unkept .
The bed sheets in room 5 ( April 9, 2026 ) were NOT replaced prior to our arrival.
When my wife & I were about to get in bed for the night we saw that the sheets contained someones grittiness . Who in the hell wants to crawl into that ?
My wife was disgusted . It's MY WIFE ! We left around 3:00 am on 04/10/26 .
Tried to get a refund but they declined . Chaffee Lodge is a JOKE & so is the long bearded fast talking lobby attendant ( "manager" LoL )
