“Moody Gardens has a beautiful Huge pool with plenty of seating. This is a family friendly place to stay with so many other types of activities offered on the property. Although, not part of the hotel, there is the Butterfly exhibit, IMAX theater, Moody Beach. This is all within a short walk from the hotel.”

“A TRUE beach hotel, in ambience, location and amenities! The only flaw ( which adds to the ambience) is no elevators, etc. Got to be able to do them stairs here! Would come again . . .says it all!”

“I did not like the fact that Hampton Inn, Galveston Tx, charges parking fees of $20 per night. That was maybe was a hidden cost unknown to Expedia. I was able to get the night desk to waive the charges, thankfully. LaQuinta in San Antonio also charged me nightly for outside parking which I was dumb enough not to notice until after checkout. Hope this review alerts future travelers. It seems this is becoming hotel industry policy so be on the alert. It seems fees will be waived if customer...
